I'm new to cricut and find your videos very helpful however I'm stuck as I have a project that is already coloured in but don't know how to print it off all in 1 any help would be great
Hi and welcome! What you'll want to do is select the entire image you want printed, then click FLATTEN (bottom right in design space). This will turn the design into a Print then cut design and you will be prompted to print before putting your design on the mat to be cut out. Hope that helps! I will have a video out soon showing a print then cut project...
Hi. I"m definitely a newbie to cricut & new to your channel. I have some questions: 1.) I do like making cards & was wondering if I can also make personalized gift card holders using the cricut joy. Also do you have to use one of the big cricut press machines for small projects, or can you use the mini press...I was watching a previous video & they kept using one of the bigger heat presses for coasters, onsesies etc. Thanks I appreciate getting info before starting projects, because I haven't purchased a machine yet. I keep debating between the jou/extra. -----------Amelia Storms
Hi Amelia! You can absolutely make giftcard holders with the joy. Here is an older video I shared making 2 styles - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SxRHtImIuVY.html I have also seen other cardholder projects in cricut design space that are sized for the cricut joy. That being said, if this will be your first cricut you may want to go with the extra (if you are wanting the smaller machine) because it's not as limited. As far as a heat press, yes you can use a smaller one. You can even use it to press larger projects by moving it around (like ironing). Hope that helps! I'll be happy to answer any more questions you have.😊
These are great! I really like how you included the image & cut settings in your video. I think the ribbon would be nice around a planter with fall flowers inside or wrapped around a wreath form.
You could store the little containers with the white lids upside down so you can more easily see what you have in the containers. So excited to see how easy it is to remove the lettering from the pill containers. Definitely gonna have to get some of those for sure!
You did a great job. I just subscribed and saw the video with you making bread labels. Do you have a video of you making bread? I would love to learn I’m a senior citizen and would like to learn
I like sewing too. A word of caution about gifting your friend with empty bobbins. Not all bobbins will fit so make sure you gift her with the right size and type for her particular sewing machine.
Nice! I really appreciated learning 100% acetone will remove the letters from the pill dispenser - I have one of the same for medication & some letters are fading, so I’m going to remove & make new with my Cricut. “Ogranized” 🙂. My favourite is the first one - I have seen those at my DT & it was nice to see how much they can hold. I wish they came in totally clear / no colour though.
I’m a quilter and have lots and lots of notions, etc - which means I’m addicted ti plastic containers😁😁😁. I was just st $$$🌴 recently and probably didn’t look hard enough to see these containers! And thank yiu for reminding me how to remove those designs/alphabets/numerals/etc, from plastic containers- I keep forgetting and need to put isopropyl on my list!!! I thought about getting a Cricut several years ago but a sewing machine took over my wallet🫢
I love your ideas! I think I'll use the pill boxes for the presser feet that came with the secondhand sewing machine I bought several months ago. I hope DT will continue to have the clear hinged and handled boxes through the year. One of the handled latch boxes holds my label maker and cartridges perfectly!
