I have ridden at least 41 coasters in my lifetime that have since moved onto the Big Theme Park in the Sky. This channel is dedicated to ALL Defunct Coasters of the World. Where is the 5th suspended coaster in the world? There are only 5 left. 1. Ninja at Six Flags MM 2. Canadas Wonderland one 3. Iron Dragon 4. The Bat 5. ?????
I went to KI this past Monday took my 10 year old daughter her first time and I had no been there in 13/14 years and I was impressed with how they got riders on and off very efficiently great video man
Typically the Dorney lines aren’t very long except for weekends, Julys, and the occasional week day. I guess you just got unlucky with the lines today!
Indeed man! Good stuff! I rode the beast the first time when I was 7 yrs old in 1981 at night at P&G day. Remember it much as you stated with the electricity in the station. I was just tall enough and they checked me again and everyone was yelling "let him go". I also rode the original bat that day in the morning. Never forget either of these experiences. My dad (now deceased) was such a neat guy to have shown me these rides and made me an enthusiast. My son now loves coasters too.

I dont get the hype for beast...I rode it yesterday and its hands down the worst coaster ive ever been on...its rough bumpy almost no airtime..Its just a rickety, rough long ride through the forest..I tried to be open minded,i really did but its horrible
@@jonathanbrown9183 I’ve never had to have an op push down a bar before. They had to push it down twice on me for it to clear. It came down very far on me but it didn’t make the ride uncomfortable. I can see it being an issue with a variety of sizes, ie taller people might not be able to squeeze in the car enough. People who are bigger in the hips or thighs might also have issues.
aw it’s cute! lol 🎢 gosh I miss Knott’s, haven’t been since 2016 🙈 hope to get back out to the west someday! and dang, bummer to hear about the 1 train op 😬
I took my family and was there on the 4th & 5th. This is my home park. The Beast was also the coaster that made me an enthusiast. I was 7 years old when my dad took my hand, looked at my mom, in Hanna-Barbera land and said…..I’m sick of this we are going to the big rides. I was so scared standing in line. But after that first drop, I was in love. The Beast and I are the same age…….5-9-79=45. I finally got to ride Orion. I watched the whole thing be built on the live cam and Orion blew me away. I loved it. I also back in the day rode Son of Beast…….with and without loop. I loved it. I thot it was a great coaster. I loved the first big drop, I loved the speed and the intensity of it. Where I’m from, West Virginia, we have one Amusement Park named. Camden Park. Back in 87, we got Screamin Demon from Kings Island. It was renamed Thunderbolt Express. An old Arrow shuttle launch looper. We used to marathon that thing for hours and hours. I lived in West Palm Beach back in 2004 and used to go and marathon the Hurricane at Dania Beach in Ft Lauderdale too. That was a great woodie. I also rode the original Gwazi too. Both tracks. I’ve never yet got to experience an RMC tho. That is what I am hoping Kings Island gets next. We need an RMC. 🤞🏼
another awesome vlog, of course 😜 lol I just got home to Virginia after my 3 day trip there and watching this feels so déjà vu 🥹 happy you got such a great, low crowd experience for your first time! I’d say same here for me (minimum wait woo… last time I was there was 2015) Fury yesterday had actual hornets flying along the lift hill 😅😂 I haven’t ridden Woodstock in a hot min 🙈 but imma say that’s a classic fave! lol along with my home park Woodstock at KD 😜 so luckily I could always catch a ride there
Carowinds is my home town park about 45 min drive. I usually only ride fury, copper head strike, afterburn and intimidator (i refuse to call it the new name 😂). I have been to Dollywood and bush gardens Williamsburg as well. Can’t wait to hit up more parks and venture out.
Geauga Lake is a huge part of my childhood and up to my early 20s. 1. Batman 2. Villian 3. Big dipper 4. Xflight 5. Superman 6. Serial thriller 6. Raging Wolf Bobs 7. Double loop 8. Mind eraser 9. Cork screw
Shame you couldn't get your first ride on Afterburn until this year. It's running TERRIBLY this season. It was so much smoother last year. Anyway, glad you enjoyed Carowinds. It's my home park. Also, Woodstock is ABSOLUTELY the best woodie at Carowinds. It's not even close. That said, RMC'ing Hurler would make Carowinds elite. I'm fine with a Twisted Timbers clone 😂
I agree Afterburn is running a lot worse this year, i wonder why?altho with the re tracking of hurler thats a little bit better and im not willing to try vortex again 😂 1 and done kinda deal I’ve noticed at least the day i was there fury wasn’t running quite as good as usual last week or maybe 2 weeks ago.
You'd be glad that just now I’ve liked your RU-vid Channel. Cos, your content was really awesome. But unfortunately, there are not much views and subscribers. I noticed that your video SEO score is too weak according to your needs. Because of that, your video is not reaching your target audience. You will be glad to hear that I can help you increase your SEO score so that it is top on the first page of RU-vid which will increase your subscribers and views organically. So, if you want to do this, I await your response
KI needs to stay open really late at night once a month. Every coaster at night is great. Even the “bottom” ranked coasters are good at night. Don’t sleep on The Bat, Racer, and Adventure Express at night. Orion, Mystic, and Diamondback are top tier night rides. And of course, the legendary Beast night ride.
Im from Ohio and have fond memories of batman..I took my 11 yo daughter to KD earlier this yr to ride dominator as it was my #1 at 1 point ,however it was rough, hasnt aged well at all..Great park
Were the opposite,I absolutely hate maverick in the front ,it takes away from the ejector. The back train you get violently thrown out of your seat on the 1st drop and the air hill before the tunnel..I absolutely love millie myself,I put it over fury myself
Just rode Timbers twice today for the very first time. Great coaster. It's rougher than Mean Streak ever was. Front was a much better ride than the back where I discovered 2 very painful potholes and was thoroughly beaten every time we landed an airtime moment. Fun, but sadly not a marathon coast for me. Or anywhere near a top 10. Overall the park was the second or third smallest park I've ever been too. The park is neatly landscaped but pretty bare bones. No architecture, dark rides, shows or attractions and extremely basic food offerings. There is fun to be had with small crowds and many walk on attractions. Out of the 4 major coasters, all but the corkscrew need some serious TLC. Wildcat has some great refurbished sections and a good layout, but much of it quite rough and feels like square wheels. I too found myself battling with Timber Hawk. It's surprising scenic but the old school over the shoulder restraints ruin the ride.
@@DefunctCoasters nice ranking! I feel that lol, can’t wait to ride Orion for the first time whenever I get there! and of course! ☺️ ahh looking forward to it! speaking of, I’m potentially going there some time next week! lol
@@DefunctCoasters Legendary is a good word. So many people talk such crap on this classic. Its not simply vintage like the stuff at Kennywood... The Beast is legendary and aged like a fine wine.
I was at Dorney this past monday..... I knew it was a bad omen when we pulled into the parking lot and there were like 50 school buses( graduating class trip) I have never seen lines like this at Dorney. almost everything was over an hour to ride. I didn't even get a crack at Iron menace as the wait was an hour and a half.
Congratulations! My 1st time at Cedar Point I rode Corkscrew twice, Blue Streak, Raptor, Wicked Twister, Gatekeeper, Valravn, Rougarou, Millennium Force and Maverick in 2 hours from 6-8pm Monday May 21st 2018. I stayed through Friday and rode Millie 37 a total of times. Last year in mid April Carowinds I rode Fur 325 97 times in 3 days and 4 hours of a 4th day.
@@DefunctCoasters Thanks! I don't get to do big parks often so when I do I tend to overdo it a bit, since I come from the West Coast of Canada. In 2022 I did Nitro about 50 times in 3 hours and Raging Bull about the same.
@@DefunctCoasters I’d be saying the say! lol and of course!! (are you on insta? maybe that’s just like a dream/thought moment 😂 or I’m confusing with another account, oops)
