This is more like Wagakki Band's theme song. Fans often sing it while waiting for their concerts to start. Kind of like how Led Zeppelin is known for "Stairway to Heaven," or the Stones for "Sympathy for the Devil."
Yeah, it was vocal layering. Jinjer sometimes uses back vocal layers in a live performances (but not much). Usually it's a bit higher than main vocal line to achieve the harmonizing effect.

Nice 1sr reaction RC1 😊. Nemophila are great at mixing heavy guitars and growling with j-pop vocals and melodies and have a very distinctive sound. They only formed just before the pandemic but have gained a very strong following in Japan and overseas. Revive is an older song and their newest song titled G.O.D. is representative of them today and definitely worth checking out. Thanks 🙏.

They only wear stage makeup in one other song, I'm Gonna Be, where they are dolls. This band is incredible, you've barely scratched the surface. They play everything from beautiful ballads to in-your-face punkish, art rock, and many other genres, moving easily from genre to genre. I think someone else suggested "For us..For me.." which starts sultry and quickly rocks out, with the caveat that each song is very different. "Same Kid " is an awesome nonstop rocker in the audio version, and the video has a fun bit in the middle. Try "Hold" for a stripped down acoustic piece. For me, this band quickly pulled me down the rabbit hole with their story and their incredible talent.
I will get to the other songs as soon as I can. With so many new bands and songs to check out, it's hard to get to them quickly while working full time, doing a side business and a family life as well as a social life. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. I'm on vacation with my girlfriend right now, but when I get back, I'm gonna try to get a video out every day. I love this song originally sang by Ms. Lorren Allred and it's been covered by many talented female singers, i.e. Lucy Thomas, Soh Yang, Putri Ariani, Katrina Velarde and Morissette and now, Gigi de Lana. They are all very good covers but I like Morissette's WishBus version.
The ladies are not tall by US standards, the tallest was Saki, guitarist on stage left who is 5’4” since she left it is the other guitarist, Hazuki at 5’2”. The guitars look bigger because of how small the women are AND those are both 7 string guitars which are wider than normal guitars.
@@rc1reactions906 5'2 is more or less medium height for a Japanese woman. And it also happens to be the height of my wife, even though she is Swedish. The women in Lovebites are smaller. From 4'9 to 5'2.
Watching these ladies is like watching my elementary school granddaughters rocking harder and better than any 50-70 year old metal legend. As a westerner we sometimes relate height to age due to our experience. Frankly, that is very inappropriate. In my personal experience a 5’3” adult women is very small. I’m not sure if any of these women reach that height. The juxtaposition of statue and ability still floors me after following many Japanese bands like Nemophila for years. Regardless, Nemophila’s music is top shelf. I can only hope and pray for another tour and their continued success.
I believe this was their first studio effort that was done completely digital. It gives it a very clean and bright sound. The lower end suffers a little bit but the music is still very good.
