I had no idea Japan had a cat island I knew about the bunny one but not kittens 🥹 Im late to the party but I have a question regarding traveling with film…how can I assure that the film is not damage during my travel? I’m going with my instax FujiFilm mini evo and I’m so scare it will damage the film I take before even using it.
The only places I ran into some fuss was in airports in the Middle East (Dubai, Doha). Im not sure they understood the fragility of film. I had to wait some time but was let through eventually. But airports in Asia are okay. Good luck!
Hi Ralph & Sam. Thank you for sharing this cool vlog :) . May i know why did you use Hayakaken IC Card, not Nimoca or Sugoca? Is it easy to get at the Airport or Station? I heard the micro chip is getting rare nowadays and its hard to get such IC card in Japan.
Hi there! We used the Hayakaken since it's the IC card we already had from our previous trip to Japan. If you have an old one, you can reuse it instead of buying a new one 😊 We did see signs at the train station that IC were no longer available in Hakata this year and Tokyo last year. Not sure if the situation has changed though!
I have a request for Ralph. Can you make 'kore wa ii ne' your catch phrase every time you try exceptionally nice food in Japan? Always puts a smile on my face when you speak Japanese! You guys are awesome by the way! my wife's a huge fan of your vlogs
I had stomach sickness in Nagasaki I met a lady as I was walking to my hotel in Hakata as took train early morning had thrown up all night before and Diarrea was awful she took me to pharmacy and got medicine for me .I went to bed when I checked in to hotel early afternoon slept the medicine was so good .I did not eat for 3 days just drank so much water .At home my doctor gave me that medicine you got last summer acid reflex really helps .I think the food in Nagasaki made me ill .I am more careful what I eat on my Japan trips food can be to rich .Glad you got good care .
Sorry to hear that! You're very lucky you met that lady who helped take you to the pharmacy. Stomach sickness on a trip is no joke. And you're right, definitely led us to be more careful on our future trips by moderating how much rich food we enjoy. Hope all is well with you now 😊
Ah! Chonk paradise! Reminds me of Houtong Cat Village in Taiwan but way bigger! Another one to check out thanks to you guys! Might consider Fukuoka one summer :) Also 2:55 看板がある信号の向こう means there will be a sign across the traffic light. :)
Taiwan is my second bias next to Japan. Will be back this October for the 3rd time, 2019 was the last visit as well and researching Kaohsiung now since it’ll be our sole itinerary this time. Nice to see vlogs made by Pinoy’s. Subscribing now. Thank youuu!
I just love watching your videos. We’ll be visiting the Philippines soon and we’ve been watching your PH videos. Hope to see more cafe/adventure videos from y’all. ❤from 🇺🇸
You guys bring a refreshing take on travel vlogs and i love them so much! I also adore that you share my love for vintage shopping. ❤ Good vibes all around 💕
Aloha from Maui 🌈 This video is puurfect. I will be visiting Fukuoka from June 18th for three weeks and attending Meiji Academy. I've been looking for different adventures. And I am a cat lover! Thank you for sharing your adventure. And I have never seen a brown cat either. I was thinking that right before you said it.🤣
Thank you Ralph and Sam for sharing this beautiful city in Japan. I wish I can plan to visit someday soon. What’s the name of that hotel by the way? It is so nice and helpful with the in room facilities. It is scary getting sick while travelling in a foreign country. The travel insurance is definitely worth it. Glad to hear Ralph could get help quickly and got better with much needed treatment 😊
You guys have come at a good season🌸 When I watch this video, my annoying cat freezes and glares at my computer screen😅 Sam-San has elegant cat-like eyes🐱 What is he saying ? but it's true💃 Looking forward to the next trip !😃
WAAAA! You guys seem to know the places I would be interested in. The cat island is one of them. I've been watching your videos whenever I'm about to travel. Your video dropped at the perfect time!
I LOVE your style of videos, and just got back from Japan myself and you captured it beautifully. My favorite is when you insert the film photos you took with the video.
I live in Fukuoka, and I'm happy to watch your videos. There's such a delicious-looking egg shop around Hakata Station, isn't there? By the way, the small spoon is not for miso soup, but for making it easier to eat oyakodon, where the rice grains tend to fall apart. It’s so wonderful to see you enjoying our city.
Haha thank you for letting us know! Will use the small spoon for that purpose next time. Fukuoka has some of our favorite Japan food memories. You live in a wonderful city 🤍😊
Hi. Have you been to Singapore recently? Actually I am planning to Singapore with family including kids. Can you please update the recent Covid situation there? It will of great help. Waiting for your reply.
