This video is so chill. Really dig your way of documenting these adventours. II watched your 285 video and was wondering how was fitting these SCS wheels? Did you go 8.5 wide? Cheers Brother!
Broo you are the best video maker in my life. My bream is to feel the Glorious mother nature. Please show me a path To overcome my un full fill life Remember me.
Super nice looking rig, but a 2" taller tire only gives you a 1" lift, as you can only take half of the increase in tire size due to measuring from the middle of the wheel to either top or bottom. Thanks for the info, I'm trying to figure out whether I need to switch to TRD Pro wheels versus my TRD Off Road based on off sets, since I'm going to try 255/80-17. Hoping to avoid any rubbing based on it being more narrow but they are slightly taller than the 285/70's.
Hi Francis! Hope you’re doing well. I’m still looking forward to your next vid. You’re bringing us to great adventures and I’m really inspired with all you do and bring to us.
Fascinating video. I camped in Oregon national forest last year and it was amazing. From Colorado here and we got tons of great places for disperse camping.
Hey thanks for the video man. I got the same exact car used 45k miles on it. Considering doing the headlight leds and bigger tires. Dumb question- i don’t wanna lift my 4runner, can i put 275/70/r17 on the same wheels? Will that rub? What is the best led headlight bulbs you recommend? Thanks man!
A brotha You definitely have talent in the overlander culture. Your culinary skills are excellent and very sultry. Your video editing is perfect, checking out the build while the Orzo cooks down is genius. Great Job. Greetings from a fellow overlander in San Luis Obispo CA.
Quick sand wrapping came out awesome! Super interested to know about your vinyl wrapping experience? What product and how much did you use? How many hours did it take to wrap it around? Any comments or separate video is much appreciated!
Thanks, Francis... Super helpful... QQ: When mounting the support bracket to the fender, did you use both screws? There's a piece blocking the second screw hole coming from the small fuse box holder.
Nice rig, im getting a 2024 trd off road premium plus, same color, it happened very unexpectedly, been doing alot of research since i made the decision to get it, glsd the opportunity arose, i hope the 2025 models will prove themselves the way these models have, in today's world, the working class people really deserve a quality product we can count on!!! I've been a toyota truck guy for years, can't beat the longevity u get from them. Unfortunately, i live in a salt state & that eats them up, i have a 98 tacoma ext cab i bought in Tennessee in 09, put a 6" lift on & do not drive in the salt, drove out to alaska once, down to Florida several times, it has 220,000 miles on it now & still a real good vehicle, plan on passing it & the new 4 runner down to my nephews when its time for me to be done, hard to find simple quality products that last anymore, looking forward to start modifying the new one!!
Can't agree with you more. Toyota are built to last forever. Even the new "hybridized" Tacoma and Tundra will last - I still see 1st gen Priuses on the road. That speaks volume! It might not have all the bells and whistles you see in BMWs and Mercedes but it sure will outlast them. I've been a Toyota owner all my life so I might be bias but it's hard to stir away from its reliability and longevity. I also plan to keep this 4Runner. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the video, I got the same set up to the tee, after trying to start my air compressor and it doesn’t even start up there is a click notice when trying to turn it on, if I unplug both compressors the fan turns on. I got in contact with the shop I got it from and they said I can’t hook the compressor straight to the the switch pros and that I have to run it to the battery, they also said I need to use the ARB harness the one with the purple wire, after looking at the schematic the purple wire becomes the red wire and that he said that goes to the switch (makes no sense in needing that section of the harness) I haven’t installed it yet just trying to get more information on why it’s not turning on before I install it, I did us the battery from a vehicle but it still doesn’t turn on , the only wires I didn’t run to through was the blue and white wire that goes to the fuse box instead I put it on the circuit breaker just to test it. I’m not sure if that’s why it’s not turning on. If you got any ideas I’d like to know. Aloha!!!
Thanks for the video Francis, I find these simplistic videos very calming and inviting. You have a really nice rig, I hope to be investing in a similar setup within a year. Cheers from Sean, Vancouver, BC
