Clearly implying that your employer pays you a sufficient salary to enable you to purchase your own choice of preferred "products" !! Let's leave the "free period products" for those that can't afford them ! SMFH !
Would like to mention that from 1972 and onwards, no help was ever given to women re: period poverty. Some years were not good for thousands of us. Now it's all anyone ever hears about this subject constantly! Where was help given for our age group and now seniors have incontinence poverty. Where is the help from government sources?
Is there a branch in Vancouver? If love to contribute to this great cause, buy shipping things to the east each time takes away a lot of the money that could have been spent on products
I am so glad to have the opportunity to be able to purchase reusable period products. Sometimes they can be expensive but there are companies like June that have great low cost reusable products.
Yeah so I do know that women do have their periods and they can't do nothing about it but do male men ever get periods or is that just for female women
I had to choose between food and period products that week + last month. I have very heavy periods and go through a lot. I live in a city with many homeless people and I feel for the women on the street dealing with it. I put products out in our local free pantries whenever I can afford to
I was 12. I literally thought I was dying and I didn’t tell anyone. My dad found out about it while doing the laundry and it was super embarrassing. 2 years later I’m 14 and I am having pms rn.
Good question. We donate to Frontline organizations likes shelters, food banks, drop in centres, health centres and they donate out to their clients. So unfortunately we don't donate to individual people.
@@theperiodpurse Good! They are a game changer for me and I feel like not many people know they even exist! But yeah, strange concept that some people aren't willing to try
my friend is a rabbi and the synagogue she works at has free pads in the girls bathroom(the tampons cost but pads are free) and itis so great they do tghat
this story is kinda basic, but here it is. it happened when i was 10 (maybe 9?) and i knew what it was but i wasnt expecting it to happen so soon. so it happened one day and i was really scared because i had no idea what was happening even though at the time i had learned what a period was. so for the first two days i kind of just prayed that it would go away and my mom wouldnt find out. by the second day i had suspicions that it was a period but i wasnt sure. so on the third or maybe second day, i get up from a chair and theres blood on it. my mom sees and she realizes that its my period and she goes and tells me everything and it all turns out just fine :D
Woman is not a dirty word. Girl is not a forbidden word. Look how afraid people are to say that women menstruate even if some don't like to be called women.
Don’t try to explain it to her. Her words are obviously signs of a TERF. She doesn’t want to give women rights, she is just trying to be transphobic and blame trans people for oppression when cis men are the problem not trans people.
I see what you’re saying and I agree, but dont most animals not menstruate? I thought only humans and some bats and mice did. Thanks a lot Mother Nature lol
@@sillygoose2347 many female mammal reabsorb the uterine lining. We’re kinda unlucky that way to have it come out. Still we can’t lose our language to let us speak about our unique human experience that only women have
Not all people who go through periods are women, some are transmen and non binary etc etc ^^ its important to include us folks who aren't women but experience menstration
I’m the sixth grade girls bathroom we have free pads and feminine products in a bucket so I guess I will use those! Honestly I think it’s because the machine is broken but yah idk.
o manufactures should just make all the products for free then? That makes no sense. You don't see men asking for free shaving blades, we didn't ask to have to shave our beards either
Same... I dont have my period yet but my school made me research so yea. But I feel so bad bc the way that the person looked so sad in the beginning just made me cry... What if they dont even have pain medicine for the cramps???
My school hasn't refilled the period product pay thing for FIVE FREAKING MONTHS! It always says empty, and I wonder how many women have looked at that white box, wanting to die inside.

@@boredombreakers6460 We have free pad dispensers but they only came in recently and only in two bathrooms, they only have regular but they're not bad quality
That wouldn’t work. It sounds nice but you need to buy the supplies, machines, electricity, etc to make them. If they were free those factories would shut down and if anything we would get terrible products. In reality it wouldn’t work out. They shouldn’t be so expensive but they can’t be free. Food and water are more important and everyone on this planet needs that. It’s not free.
If we do that then everything thing is free the only thing that's is not necessary is shopping for unnecessary the things we need like water gas's pads tampons ect girl products water food etc boy products a couple i of outfits not really necessary but u do need something wear she be free for those who can't afford
