I really like this tune. Are you guys working on getting a studio recording? I turn off reply notifications and "Post and Ghost" so I don't get overwhelmed, but I'll check back to the replies. You guys have a good sound.
We're thinking we'll probably start trying to play some gigs late spring/early summer and see what people think. Maybe a recording late summer/fall. Fingers crossed! Thank you for the kind words
@@DirtMelt That's awesome man! My bassist and I took our acoustics to an Open Mic last night. Hoping to network and get gigs that way. So many people want cover bands haha. Glad to be a part of your journey, you guys really have something going!
It's definitely a tough time to be a full volume, original music rock band. Fortunately there's still a few venues in our area holding on. Networking is absolutely the right approach. It's all about who you know. Takes a lot of guts to play acoustic at an open mic! More than I have lol. Keep at it and good luck!
Can already tell I'm going to love your guys music. We have the same problem as you with the vocals being too low in volume. If you can try to get the PA speaker closer to the video camera. You guys rock!
Thank you for listening! This one is still very much "under construction" - still improvising a fair amount. Hopefully as the vocal parts get solidified along with everything else, they'll start to sound more confident/prominent. The PA does tend to get overpowered in our space - but i'm not much of a singer anyway :P -z
haha, too much concentration going on probably? i assure you we are very much enjoying what we're doing. the uploads are for us to listen back to and make adjustments. if a few people stumble upon them and enjoy them, that's great. if not, thanks for listening anyway!
@@DirtMelt I appreciate the humor in your reaction, i indeed stumbled upon your upload and can relate to the scene, two things got my attention, the two jazzmaster like guitars, and the amount of equipment you all got including the ventilators ( for your hair to wave with the winds l.o.l.] I guess you all got solid dayjobs. I admire the fact that you got the energy to go somewhere, i don't know what your goals are but i wish you all the best. Greetings from the Netherlands.
Yeah we're just 3 friends who have been playing together in various bands for the last 10 years. Just for fun mostly. Lots of local shows. This is a new project still finding its feet. We do all have day jobs and families which makes it harder to devote time to a band. But we still enjoy rehearsing when we can, and hopefully we'll get the chance to play out again soon. We practice in a storage unit with no climate control. Cold in the winter, hot in the summer - hence all the fans :). The guitars are warmoth builds. Rock on! -z@@HHarry64
