The Georgia Tech Supply Chain and Logistics Institute (SCL), a unit of the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE), provides global leadership for research and education in the application of scientific principles to optimize the design and integration of supply chain strategy, infrastructure, processes, and technology. As part of our mission, we support supply chain related research initiatives, collaborate with industry and government, and offer professional education programs to the general public. Our channel contains videos and webinars that serve as a brief overview of some of these initiatives.

We suggest that participants have a basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis, some experience with Python and PowerBI, along with basic coding/programming skills. However, we designed the courses to apply to both people with experience and without experience in these programs. We will provide resources for installing and getting started with the programs in the weeks leading up to the course. One week before the course starts, we will have an optional webinar to provide more guidance and provide direct assistance. During the course, we will provide the solutions to the exercises so that participants can choose to write the code on their own, use the solutions as hints, or use the solutions entirely and focus on the content rather than coding. We designed each course to meet the needs of students who are taking the full certificate series along with the needs of students who are taking a single course. Each course will start with a brief review of previous content for the benefit of everyone but will not go into detail. If you have any specific questions that we can answer, please email info@scl.gatech.edu and we can put you in touch with an instructor. Thank you for the comment!
Thanks for this informative video on warehousing but I have doubt in one of your suggestion. At 41:55 you mentioned that SKU "A" would be the best to store in the forward area. Even though compare to other two SKUs it is picked less. My argument is that, if the SKU "C" is store in the other area, it would not only increase replenishment time but the travel time also. What would be your thought on this? Kindly share with us. Thank you
@GTSCL very useful website. I have seen useful links on www.scl.gatech.edu/resources/links, I think SCMDOJO Logistics articles will be good addition in the list for your students. www.scmdojo.com/category/logistics/
Sorry, content relating to the course is only available onsite. Please visit www.scl.gatech.edu/whdc for details. We do offer a Warehousing Operations course online, but its content is more focused on fundamentals (www.scl.gatech.edu/scfwo).
Thank you & Appriciated! The lecture is very fruitful. As we know, the supply chain is effecting our daily life in the form of information to make a good decision about daily need. The online line shoping is increasing on the daily basis. Thousand of the new customers are increaing daily basis who are buying the food item, clothes, shoes, etc.
