Thank you Whaea Hana and Matua Syd for your courage. Wish you could see how far Te Ao Māori has come now and how Māori are thriving and living our truth everyday being u apologetically Māori and understanding the grievances that were and are still being put on us as a culture. We’ll continue to move forward as Māori, mō ake ake tonu!
Maybe it's time for Maori to revisit the immigration policies. You know, copy the Australians. Return to the UK all bigots, and persons of dishonest character as undesirables. Call it the "Aotearoa 502 policy". 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
I know that Moana Jackson's humility would eschew such an acknowledgement but I truly believe that he should to be remembered on the same level as Dr Martin King and that a day of deep observance should be established by nga iwi o Aotearoa in his name. His expansive scholarship, intelligence and vision of the past, present and future based on truth, honesty, ethical conditions but mostly kindness, are unsurpassed. I am surprised that he has never been considered for a knighthood. Nga mihi nui ki a tenei rangatira.
❤❤❤❤❤You Go Girl....yes we need the younger generation that is educated and fierce. Thank you so much for stepping up to your challenge for the better of our culture whanau and whenua
There are some great advocates in Labour but they are essentially the other colonial party upholding systemic colonial problems. I think shifting towards concepts like Matike Mai are solutions.
Israel defenders are doing to Chloe and the Greens what they did to Jeremy Corbyn in the UK and Ilham Omar in the US... If calling out war crimes is religious bigotry then so is calling out the Catholic Church's child abuse
Yes. Palestinians are Semitic too making Colonial Israelis and their supporters the most anti-semitic people in the world due to their ongoing racist colonial disinformation and murder spree. All the Israeli claims are built on lies and myths to cover up their genocidal founding when Ben Gurion planned out attacks and murders against Palestinians around 1947. Abusers always accuse their targets of their own crimes.
谢谢你 What a real treasure you have here! Thank You for sharing💗 Many things I love, was rolled into this 28minutes. Very informative and well put together. A small but precious glimpse of 50's China in these four cities really helps to put things in perspective. History is amazing.
Kia ora! I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I was intrigued about Ramai's doco for a long time and felt it just had to be shared. We received a very 'Colonial British Empire' education of history here, which hid the relationships between Maori & China too. I'm enjoying learning about the real histories also.
I was standing in that crowd when they uncovered the carving. I wasnt just in the crowd, I was living in the house with eva and tex.... It was one of the best experiences Id ever had in my life to date. She was a very loving, hard working wahine. Tex was a bloody hard working man, had us boys help him around the farm.
