i knew Drop A could actually really Djents during the breakdown section. Mike really djent the Baritone Tele during the live show. Ngl sounds brutal! And to the OML/ATS haters in the comments, You should've listen to these unreleased songs instead so get out!
Hey bro, can you cover broken down by 7dust? Just listened to that and realized is my favourite album from them, I think it really balance melody and heaviness, it has something that reminds me of meteora and hybrid theory, which are my favourites albums all time
I recently asked you if you liked the choice of the new singer and if you were interested in the new album that will be released in November but you hadn't answered me so I thought you didn't like the new Linkin Park and instead you like them!! I'm happy you like them!! I like this video with the sun shining on you, it's the first time this has happened. I love it. 😊 2 videos in one day, I adore you. ❤ So you've decided that you're going to make the new album that comes out in a month?
@@bdubberz He definitely plays it in Drop A according to live videos, that's what I used to learn the song. The low A comes in in the rhythm portion of the chorus and the bridge. I suppose you could play it in Drop D but you'd have to compensate for those lower chords somehow, probably play the A chord inverted like they do in other songs. Even still, the bridge would be impossible to play accurately in any other tuning besides Drop A.
@@MysticGuitar77 the ones I’ve watched Mike starts the octave chords around the 2nd/3rd fret. Most covers up right now use Drop D. Then again they have 2 guitarists. Definitely not arguing but if it’s in Drop A I’d be curious what else they do on the album with the lower tunings.
@@bdubberz Yes, he plays it in the lower position using the 2nd and 4th strings instead of the 3rd and 5th strings like I do. I changed the position since I found it more comfortable to play this way up higher on the neck. The tuning is like the 7-string version of Drop A so instead of A E A D F# B, the F# string is tuned to G. The way I played it it doesn't matter but if you want to play it exactly like Mike you have to tune the 2nd string to G instead of F# to get the same shape octaves he does and play them in the same position he does.
Great cover man, as always. Elated LP is back and can’t wait for the album. Can you do a video about how you mix and master your covers? I’m trying to learn but currently struggling. I use Reaper
I was wondering when you were in high school, what grade did you have in music? In American high school, do you have to learn to play an instrument in music classes? For example, in Italy, you are taught to play the recorder. All Italians know how to play the recorder. 😂You can also study other instruments such as piano and guitar, but they are taught in the afternoon as an after-school activity. And what was the school subject that you didn't like at all? 😊
Music was an optional elective class after 5th grade where I live. I never opted to take it until senior year in high school. I had an open period so I decided to take a music theory class since I actually wanted to learn it. It was mostly based around piano so that's where I learned how to sorta play the piano. Class was tough lol. I was only good at the ear training stuff we did like identifying intervals and chords by sound.
In Italy music is a compulsory subject. You study a bit of music theory, musical notes, a bit of sol-fa, but above all you study the life and works of great composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, Verdi etc.. You didn't answer which one was in high school the school subject that you didn't like at all. And in your high school did they teach Italian among the foreign languages to study?
