Hey, could you help me to solve Challenge question in FM Core Pure 1 Book Mixed Exercise 9. I tried solution bank, and they just wrote answer without solution steps. Thank you for your videos.
Unfortunately it's a bit difficult for me to help here, but if you're still struggling I would work through it with a teacher if you can. Thank you for watching though, and I do plan to eventually have all the core pure chapters out 😅
It takes t_1=3.498...s for the first ball to travel up then back down and t_2=2.258...s for the second one to travel down before the two collide. T = t_1 - t_2 because T is the amount of time between when the first ball is projected up and the second ball is dropped down. Hope this clears things up :)
For 11c why wouldn’t doing the scalar quantity of AB and scaler quantity of AD, and multiplying them together, get us the area? I tried it and didn’t get the answer
To find the area of a parallelogram by multiplying two lengths, it has to be a base and a perpendicular height - AB and AD aren't perpendicular so you can't multiply them to find the area
