At 1:05:48--1:06:00 The graduate's degree was misread. This was in NO WAY the fault of the proctor, but in fact the student's own fault for an error HE made in his pre-written announcement. His actual degrees include the following: 1. Associate of Arts and Sciences: Business Administration with a focus in Marketing, Management, Economics, and Accounting for application in Agribusiness and Agricultural Sciences. 2. Associate of Arts in Teaching: Social Studies: Secondary Education with a focus in U.S./World History, Government, Political Science and Law He minored also in English Writing, Theater and Performing Arts, Music, as well as in Biology and Environmental Science
I would like to personally thank Dr. James Ball for his kind and heartfelt speech to the Class of 2017. Beautiful. He is such a kind man and gracious leader. We Carroll Community alumni are honored to have completed our 2-year college career under his leadership; such an honorable man. I would also like to thank Dr. Rosalie V. Mince for fulfilling her duty in reading the names of each student as they were presented. Her efforts and care to see each student reach their full potential establishes her as a credit to the college community and it is such an honor to know her Thank you Dr. Young and Ms. Kate Fanning for being such valuable mentors to me. I hope to make you proud during my teaching career one day I would also like to thank Ms. Lynne Smith for being such a wonderful mentor to me and for recognizing me for the L. Roland Sturm Scholars program and award. It was such an honor being named as a Sturm Scholar. Ms. Shanelle Hopkins, what would I have done without your sense of humor. You always had a way to make me laugh during the harder periods of my college career. You are one of my most valued mentors and a memorable professor. Ms. Darlene Ely, Thank you for your support and warm compassion. I will not let you down. It was sad to graduate and say farewell to such an esteemed and supportive faculty. I will look forward to returning one day. So long and happy graduation everyone ps. Manuel Gonzales and Michael O'Brien, you two still owe me a picture:)
If you go to this school be very careful. If you meet with an academic advisor or any other employee at the school and they make any promises at all, record every meeting you have! They like to make promises to get your money and then act like they didnt promise anything. Please be careful. As for what this guy is saying in this video. He is lieing right now. He says all classes and services and offered online. This is a lie! Not one of my classes was actually online as was promised. After calling them out and asking for my money back they refused and basically told me to go pound sand. It's even on the front page of the website that all classes and services will be online. I feel like they take advantage of poor people. I feel if I had some extra money and could afford to hire a lawyer I could get my money back. Very sad. Do not trust this place. They are scammers. If you make a promise and dont back it up I consider you a scammer.
I swear my college is such a joke. I click on the link to find out information about Carroll and the current situation and they have this video... Hey guys how about you give us contact info for if we actually have to talk to someone about our classes. I need to talk to someone about my classes and I cant find anyway to do that. But im so glad you were able to make this video. It really helps me out
Hi Mike, We're sorry you're having trouble finding contact information. If you need information about classes, please contact the Advising Office at 410-386-8435.
who thought it was a good idea to put dubstep over passive activities like studying and reading. if you wanna make college look "cool" you have to at least sync up your tempo with your video. that weird sped up walking doesn't help much at all.
