Interesting stories from West M'sia school. I'm from East M'sia, Sabah and I've quite a few stories to share. After I've watch this episode, I've realised my stories growing is oddly funny and underrated. Thought it was normal kids stuff but now that I think of, that's not that normal after all. Just to list a few below, if you'll interested to know more let me know, reply in my comments I'll share more. 1. Postal shopping magazine(Keychains, pencil box, toys, colorful perfume grains, etc) 2. Brought gun to school 3. Canteen food experience in primary & secondary school. Volunteering work behind canteen, selling food and rewarded with special food. 4. Secondary school gang war, fight scene, cyber cafe rivalry, 5. Stealing money from home, punishment chaos 6. Ponteng sekolah, hunt by discipline teacher 7. Bringing gadgets to school, gameboy, Walkman, Mini Disc Walkman, Digimon, etc. Of course some stealing cases happened too and it's a juicy story behind too if u wanna know more. 8. Can't go without mentioning the mobile food van, ice cream bike, and secret runcit selling cigarettes and also hide out smoking spots in school and outside secret runcit.
There's a game I used to play during my early secondary school that I cant find records of anymore So I wonder if anyone played this before. Basically, it's making aerodynamic cars using one piece of paper , the racing track is multiple desk combined and we would compete by blowing the back of the car. The car that goes the furthest and the fastest wins. I say car, but it looks more like a sled.
I don't think I have anything good to say about Singaporean. I have Singaporean family and am traumatised growing up with interaction with them. Even though we are family, they look down on us for my entire 30 years of life. They are the one who live in HDB flats. Us here in the Malaysian family, all living comfortable with big houses and cars. They always condemned Malaysia for not having streaming tv, Internet wifi, beautiful beach and everything that we actually have here.
I love how the msian comedians respect and highlight hirzi's way of jokes & the way he brings out comedy into his spotlight. I don't think I've ever heard our sgporeans comedians say it out loud. But yes, we appreciate and celebrate Hirzi too!🤍
hello from sg, I went to pri school in the early 00s and secondary school in the 2010s. when I was in sec4, I got hit in the head by soccer ball as classmates were outside the field as teacher didnt allowed them in due to attire, so they kicked over the high field fence. I was the goalkeeper playing girls soccer but my team was striking goal, suddenly I heard loud cheering from the field gate, a soccer ball was kicked high to the sky. when I realised it was heading in my direction, it was too late to move and it hit my head, my nose was bleeding so I made my way out of the field while having my head unable to keep straight. I picked up my bag and went to the general office and called my mom to pick me up, teacher went to the staff room to do things so no one told my mom what happened, the moment I reached home I went straight to bed and fall asleep while nose was still bleeding. thereafter my memory kept failing, I cant remember way home and kept forgetting things which I got bullied by classmates with lots of pranks like hiding my bag somewhere else in the school where nobody would go to as teacher asked another obedient classmate to go look for my bag, things daily got stolen and got followed home as they would knocked on the door and quickly ran away. I stopped going to school as I was struggling with weak leg muscle and nobody showed empathy or help me out when I couldnt stand. teacher initially told me to sit at the side of the parade square during morning assembly but student councillor/prefect insisted that im not allowed to sit there, I was struggling with weak leg muscle and my leg were numbing. teachers came to my home to persuade me to return back to school but I simply wouldn't as I probably got anxiety and depression, I was hopped my way to the living room when they came to visit. on the second visit I returned back but realised I had brain fog, and had trouble understanding or expressing myself, I stopped going to school again as I was struggling with sleep, nobody care to persuade me and only went for n level english papers. principal told me to get test for thyroid and it was a bingo. I went to see endocrinologist and she insisted I have brain tumour which I took mri on the second visit. there's no issues, but throughout the years doctor would kept saying that I have but my mom would sternly declined as she believed I dont have brain tumour. I had trouble sleeping for many years as I only able to fall asleep at 6/7am and on someday I totally cant fall asleep. I had frequent nose bleeding but when lockdown hit, I managed to stop having nose bleeding and have proper sleep and slept a lot, eventually I got back normal sleep but lately start having messy sleep schedule where on someday I slept too much and on someday I get less than eight hours of sleep. fast forward to the ninth year of seeing my doctor which was last year, she said I have pituitary gland damaged. I didnt know what it meant so I google searched, it stated was due to physical impact, I told my doctor I remembered the accident but she insisted that I have pituitary gland damaged since I was birth and her attitude became very rude since then as she would insist that there's no such accident happened back then. I spend my adulthood totally different from others as I couldnt work as I dont have the ability to think, sadly there's no help given to such situation, I had to lived off my parents, I often apologised to my mom for the burden as I tried working but it causes sleep deprivation and worsen my mental health as it gave me depression and anxiety. which I lately found out that the accident caused memory loss, depression and anxiety after managed to recall everything last year as throughout the years my mind was always blank, I couldn't think as it would triggers very bad headache as I had headache for many years and it stopped during lockdown and when everything was back to normalcy, I had headache again. this episode brings back all the happy memories I had when I was in primary school and felt relatable although I studied in Singapore. I remember having Pepsi vending machine when I was in p1, but next year when I was in p2, they removed it and replaced with yeos packet drinks instead. which when I went to other school for tuition, they had the fountain coke machine in their canteen stall. canteen food was amazing in primary school which I often wished they allow outsider to dabao food from the canteen as I often dream about it even till my adulthood but security guard said the rules have changed, no outsider allowed to purchase food from the canteen but when I was in secondary school, it was horrible. economic rice tasted weird as meat doesnt taste like meat at all, when they removed western food in sec4, all my classmates including me would just drink water to keep ourselves full during recess. on somedays classmates would dabao McDonald before coming to school and have it during recess. for other class their teacher would treat them pizza. I would just kept drinking water to keep myself full but ended up struggling with eating instead and losing leg muscle, because the head injury caused me to kept throwing up, and I didnt ate anything because canteen food was terrible, I kept drinking water to keep myself full and I ended up kept drinking sports drink and got water intoxication and back then I didnt know how harmful sports drinks were. and recently found that the medication ive been taking for the past ten years, potassium chloride are for people with head injuries. I only looked up the medication after my uncle who had heart failure was hospitalised and was prescribed the same medication but he only need to take it for two weeks, meanwhile I took the medication for the past ten years.
My middle school used car brand for some reason idk my class is called Wira I don't remember others😂 But then it changed to like motivated word like cerdik or dedikasi(my class) In high school from my school use mostly famous school name like SBPI, MRSM, KIK and others. But upon entering f4 they changed to university name like UITM, UTM, UPNM, UMS 😅
The only same part with my primary school are Arif and Bestari... my school have 2 B and 3 C so it's: Arif Bestari Bijak Cerdik Cermelang Cekap And in my last year... a new building have just finished been build and during my little brother time there... they added a few more... it's a Village/Rural area school so it's not that big...
I was in an international school where the founders kids made national and international headlines. I would love to tell the story under disguise like one of those exposé documentaries lol.
I went to a Convent girl school (both primary and secondary) and girl schools tend to have a lot of lesbian and bf dramas, ranging from why you stole my bf/gf straight up to gathering almost the entire class to gang up and boycott / bully the person who allegedly stole the bf/gf. Th ganging up and boycott / bully thing happened to my friend twice, once in Std 6 and another time in Form 3 (disclaimer I wasn’t part of the gang, lol). If you stay back after school, you can sometimes see students quarrelling with each other, pulling and shoving each other over this issues. Anyway, back when I was in Form 1, there was a sort of senior worship cult (from my pov). A group of students from my year were worshipping this senior and I think she ended up getting together with a friend of mine. Senior’s classmate and some other students got jealous of and cause some infighting, broke the group into two. And I think it ended up with someone trying to kill herself but disclaimer I’m not too sure whether this really happened. All I could recall was one day, an ambulance came to our school and we saw the girl being wheeled out and rumours went around saying that she tried killing herself due to this drama and the senior later came to our class visibly upset. But anyway, that is life in an all girls school. Lots of drama 😂😂😂😂 oh ya and after I left school, I heard that mass hysteria happened a couple of times at the school 😅😅
