Love this version. Is more in line with the movie rendition sung by Hugh Jackson. Hugh gets a lot of flack for singing it loudly. The softer versions leave me thinking that he is dead and going home to God. But we know he is not. He sings it asking God to bring him home on earth. Oh well, people see it the way they want to, but I think that's not how this song should be interpreted. Ohhh! Could listen to this all day Josh! Wish I could here the entire song. I will look for it!💖👍🙋
This is the best singer Ive heard singing this beautiful ballad. Loved that bass tbat comes in...whoooo..gives mw shivers. So does Josh here! The tempo and feeling. Ugh! He tells the story, not as if he's asking God to bring him home to Himself, but to bring him home as a soldier would come home from battle. And his volume and dynamics are perfect for the true meaning of this song. Bravisimo!
Esta bien la version aunque le falta mas vibrattos al chico y no basarse en tonos tan suaves, debe atacar la cancion con potencia en los graves y el vibratto puede hacerlo, ahh y no usar demasiado autotune
Saw Les Miseables in London at the Sondheim last summer. Truly the most marvelous and memorbale thing I have ever watched. I have seen lots of musical from across the sea, but the cast and stage performance was something different completely.
Im an aussie visiting London for a month and saw les mis on my first week in London and ended up seeing it again tonight (which is my last week in London) - one of my all time favourite musicals and this performance and cast was the best ive seen - hence why i saw it twice:)
I saw Les Mis last month in London. I lost my 25 year old son to an overdose three years ago, and this powerful performance of Bring Him Home brought me to my knees. I sat in my seat in the Sondheim quietly sobbing. I'm sure those around me did not understand.
Oh im so sorry! Sending you so much love. I cant begin to imagine how the past few years have been for you. Im glad great music is there to allow us to step into those parts of ourselves that need to feel ❤️🙏🏼
I'm sharing the feels of loss, would not tell my friend who was with me (or anybody else around in the theatre) about that and anyway she knew the night would be pure excitement for me for many other reasons :) but yeah, Josh's perfomance brought up a lot of emotions, so it's good to hear that I'm not the only one who had a good cry at Les Mis! Sending you strength. 🙏 We're in this together and shared this one feeling at one point in our lives. x Sarah
@@flausenkopp sending love. As Josh said, there is such power in music, lyrics and voice to help process overwhelming emotions. Yes, we were joined at that moment of time. Thank you Josh!
