Built that thing a couple of times, it's a nice kit but not as near as detailed as the Zvedza Mi-24 which has about three times as many parts. Obviously this Italeri kit offers many opprtunities to be improved. Great detail work, congrats!
I just bought this kit (February 2024) at a model show/ Box is severely damaged, and decals are ‘bruised’ (probably unusable), and no instructions… parts are fine … this video will substitute for the missing instructions. Good video, and many thanks for showing actual products you used. Gives us a good baseline.
@@plamodellife7936 No, it's exist, this plane is created by Lockhead and just hidden by the US military and is the successor to the SR-71 Blackbird which stopped flying in 1990. This aircraft is capable of flying above 36,000 meters at 5 times the speed of sound. Evidence? The US is 50 years ahead of technology, and in 50 years it might be something like that, so it's possible it's now.
@@plamodellife7936Not sure if it's ok to write here, but can you help with this whole manual thing? I have a physical of course, but where can I find a pdf of it to print out in the right scale? Or am I supposed to scan the manual itself?
Thanks for your comment! 1) The fit of the canopy is not good, so please use putty to fix it. 2) If you just align the upper and lower fuselage as it is, it will come off easily just by holding down the center, so use runners or plastic plates to reinforce the inside.
I have just watched unboxing by "Struggledaddy" but nice to see them being built . There was an article in TAMIYA magazine about 26 years ago , you made a nice job .....all those rivets ! As a design I prefer the Thunder Dart .
April 28, 2022----Got a couple of these kits but will use them in some zombie/apocalypse dioramas, along with some other 1/35 bikes as used during WW 2. Just going to paint 'em differently.
Late reply, but don't use this kit with the Zombie hunter "road to freedom" kit from Master Box nº35175. The main character, Alice, don't fit on this model. Only with a lot of modifications can fit, without the right hand on the motorcycle. Is an example.
July 24, 2021----Thanks for the video, but I am SO disappointed this appears to be the ONLY video on this great kit. Got back into modeling, but going for 1/35 scale zombie/apocalypse dioramas. Only other motorcycle kits available are American & German ones for WW 2. I have 6 of these kits as they would make great survival bikes.
@@plamodellife7936 Just found out that Tamiya also has some WW 2 British Triumph motorcycles. Have NO intention of painting the WW 2 stuff green....either a whore house red or piss yellow, maybe with some pin striping?
Black uses Tamiya X-1. Spray glossy clear to apply decals, A semi-glossy clear is sprayed on for washing. X-1 → glossy clear → Decal →semi glossy clea → washing
Beautiful model! I haven’t done models for close to 10 years now, my last was a 1/72 Hasegawa FB-111A converted to a RAAF F-111G, was my second model I’d used airbrush on and my first I’d done panel line wash on. Planning to get back into it and thought of doing the Mitsubishi F-2A. Love how you had done the camouflage! Your choice of weapon setup is good, but just looked and have to get 2 Hasegawa weapon sets for it. Thank you for a great video!
