I've recently picked these up as well. I can't get enough of em. I hang them from my belt loop with a little carabiner all day, because you never know. And when another percussionist sees me with them, weather they know what they are or not, they get a big smile and that spark in their eyes. I seen they made cork ones just the other day, and had been wondering how they were. PERFECT for practicing at home without making the wife irritated. So thanks for the video. Good tips. Plus, you demonstrated using the exact ones I've had my eye on. I'd say you've got yourself a new subscriber.
I'm afraid I am of the other opinion: histrionics and so-called "stank face" are not necessary when I'm playing drums. Great technique, solid groove, and the occasional display of chops is what I'm after. What I want is for the people to leave thinking, "Wow, great drummer. And he made it look so easy." Don't get me wrong - I'm not up there looking like The Great Stone Face. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself, and I do let it show. It's just that massive displays of unbridled enthusiasm are not for everyone. Want proof? Two words: Neil Peart. Want two more? Dennis Chambers. I could go on, but 'nuff said.
Hi this is Jennifer Joseph. I met you at my grandchildren's School dos caminos. I want to ask if you give family lessons. I'd like to have lessons with myself my daughter-in-law and my two grandchildren. Please let me know that something that is possible. Thank you!
Max was my ukulele teacher for a while. He was pretty funny and wore the same hat every single lesson. I don't think that Max will see this but I started playing guitar and want to start a band soon. He taught me tons of important techniques that I use a lot now.
Austin I've been playing acoustic guitar for a year and half . I like many styles and want to play electric ( I did as a teenager) What's your approach to teaching adults ? I also love old school metal !
Hey there, thanks for commenting! I tend to teach electric an acoustic very similarly regardless of age. The techniques are only a bit different between the two but if you have experience with acoustic then electric is a smooth transition. - Austin 🤘
Jump by Van Halen is so overused in EVERY piano demo ad. Pick a new song already! Like with Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin it should be banned from playing in keyboard demos 😂
Thank you so much to Max, Erica, and Austin, and everybody at Music Freqs, and all of the talented musicians for making this possible! 😁👏👏👏👏 My friends and I loved watching it today!!
My first introduction to SPAM and No Idea-what absolutely rocking bands! I’ll be singing all day with these tunes in my head-Victim of the Beast is catchy!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN and thanks for getting the party started! 💕🧜🏻♀️🧛🏽♂️🍕🎶
I remembered two videos I saw a few years ago. One was about being a metalhead, and the other I think was about black metal. I typed in the name and found this. Was that you back then, Austin?
There sure is alot of hate on here, it's just 2 guys doing a demo for people interested in an Alesis command drum kit. Good video guys you sounded good and I appreciate the demo as I am looking at buying a Command kit.
