A reminder that the owners of Bombay Sapphire and St-Germain, Bacardi Ltd., are financially supporting Putin's regime and its crimes against humanity. In March 2022, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Bacardi announced that it would halt all exports to Russia and freeze investment and advertising programs. However, instead of keeping this promise, the company not only increased its exports to Russia but also tripled its profits.
Apart from you, Bacardí also collaborates with Putin's regime. Last year they paid $12 million dollars in Russia to fuel war and genocide. In March 2022, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Bacardi announced that it would halt all exports to Russia and freeze investment and advertising programs. Instead of keeping this promise, the company increased its exports to Russia and tripled its profits.
Who better to team up with than Bacardí? Literally anyone else. Anyone who does not support war and genocide. In March 2022, after Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Bacardi announced that it would halt all exports to Russia and freeze investment and advertising programs. Instead of keeping this promise, the company increased its exports to Russia and tripled its profits.
It just feels so weird to see a company do a video on the Mai Tai when it has been reverse engineered by Smuggler's Cove and featured on so many drink channels.... and then present a recipe that look like a mashup of the more-or-less agreed upon recipe, and something from the 90s. Dark, white and overproof rum instead of just Jamaican blend? Triple sec instead of dry Curacao? Bitters? It's definitely Mai Tai adjacent.
Exactly, I’m actually drinking some right now only because I wanted to try it out. And now reading your comment that’s exactly what it is…. Flavored water!
Just wanted to say these videos are great, and it’s genuinely really unlucky that you guys haven’t blown up yet - keep it going, great content, much love from London.
