@slotvalleyracing False Start Detection: This system detects any false starts and automatically stops the race, lighting up a red light to the early starter, a green light to the opponent (instant winner), and displaying an alert on the panels. Time Measurement: With high-precision light sensors, it measures reaction times from the moment the green light lights up until the cars leave the starting line, and the elapsed times until vehicles cross the finish line with milliseconds precision. Realistic Light Sequence: Start each race with a .400 Pro sequence of yellow and green lights. Bracket Setting: Easily adjust your vehicle brackets using dedicated buttons for each lane. Digital Displays: Each lane features two 4 digit 7 segment LED displays showing reaction and race times in real-time, ensuring clear and precise visibility. Compatible with all scales. Wired LDR sensors for start and finish lines: Start line cables are 50 cm (1ft 8inch) long, and Finish line cables are 8 meters (26ft) long. I can customize this lenghts in case you need it. How It Works: After the system starts you will begin setting the bracket: Use the buttons to adjust the bracket times, they will be shown on the displays (you'll have a limited time for this). Preparation: Place the vehicles in their respective lane positions. The sensors will detect when both cars are on Stage. Race Start: A sequence of yellow LED lights will start the countdown. When the green LED lights up, it’s time to go! Time Measurement: The sensors record reaction and elapsed race times, displaying the results on the panels. Winner Detection: Upon crossing the finish line, the system automatically determines the winner and shows the final result. New feature: 2 minutes after a race is finished, the system will restart automatically. With this system, you can guarantee a fair, exciting, and fully automated racing experience. Ideal for racing events, competitions among friends, or just testing your drag racing skills. The case is a fully customizable body made of laser cut PMMA and assembled with care by myself. If you need customization, please send me a note when making the purchase. By default it will be shipped as pictured, in black body color. Cool! Remember you have bracket buttons to set the bracket while the system is displaying a single 0 on the top displays. Also, by now it is not visible the green light for winner, because there is only one car moving. But apart from the system, your track looks like a lot of fun! I think I will make a strip for myself based on that one you have! 👍
😂 Liked your video man! Nice to hear you talking about my system. Sorry you didn't get the USB cable, I'm sure it was included, but maybe in customs they accidentally drop it off. In my channel there are a few instruction videos for the sensors and other things. Thanks again! 🎉
You're welcome my friend, generating a lot of interest, I'm in the process of installing, with a video of installation. Please let me know if you develop a speed measurement system, thank you for what you do, cheers my friend
Thank you, yes super excited about this, already working on installation and video , should be done by weekend, even more exciting is the gentleman that makes these likes my suggestion of making a speed sensor stand alone system .thanks again for watching, always look forward and enjoy your videos, may the gods of speed & slotcars shine down on you. Cheers
just zip tie or rubber band the controllers and plug the power source into a power bar with a switch. simple and most of the time you have a spare power bar.
The scenery is a little busy for my taste. I'm not a big fan of blind corners and such but looks like you enjoy it, which is what matters. Thank you for sharing. Freindly tip, if you hold up a sheet of white pare behind your cars the camera will focus on them.
@zedsodead your right, busy it is, I don't consider this a racing track, more like a driving track and yes some of my corners are dramatic, I would definitely not set up a digital track the Same way
@Scale_Slotcars_Latvia professor motor model, that's what was going on plus power loss, took it apart, never serviced it, so I cleaned and lubed contacts, seemed to work, but have test more.
Leb hobbies, they list a 1/24, 62 corvette tires, don't think they listed size, but I noticed all the 1/24 62 corvettes have the same size tires and I'm guessing that tha jag probably takes the same skinny tires
@Clearwater124 unfortunately pretty much the same, the only thing for me is that the rubber was super soft compared to the aged ones on the car, not perfect but more drivable for now. I hate shopping for slotcar tires on line, especially for 1/32 , seems a lot easier with modern 1/24's ,I'll have to keep looking or maybe measure the ones I have and try and find comparable match.
