The upper deck is fun, because it gives Private Jet vibes and is wonderfully bright, even though it is louder. LH C, while comfortable is sadly outdated.
It's outdated but still better than economy. Lufthansa's business class across their fleet are mostly outdated but at least they are retrofitting existing/ordering new aircfraft with updated business class products.
Hello. Nice video. Im just learning of this airline thru an US Aviation blog. I wish them well..hope they prosper in an slow organized path, not a greedy one..keep the vids coming im a new subscriber
you talk so much instead of that show airplane and also always go to galley and show the galley and also galley snack and LUFTHANSA its not first world airline its third world airline its been more than 10 years they are changing their business class seat till now only few planes have new 1-2-1 they are not top 20 either I like BA more than LH!
I somewhat agree, but there are better seats, with the same amount of personal space, but with more privacy, and direct aisle access. Isn't that always preferable?
Loved this video! I flew the 747-8 last year from FRA-YYZ in Economy. It was a really solid flight and much better than my economy experience on Air Canada or Emirates.. But that might be because I’m northern European and I just want a solid product
Thanks! I think LH and AC economy is comparable, I would book LH for the 747 though, they fly it to Toronto and Vancouver during the summer. Never flown on Emirates, would love to try them. I'll soon be flying MUC-LAX on Lufthansa's A380 in economy, very excited! Will be my first time on the A380!
I always do, I post it on another channel www.youtube.com/@temporarywindow A220 Takeoffs: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yVTnncBPvng.htmlsi=KI_Cp7Zk66R1i7Ck ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tRErSMyKoy4.htmlsi=SiPh219iIftq1x6J
Air Canada is not that bad of an airline. I've flown them a few times, and they're certainly better than what I'm used to, which is low cost airlines like Swoop primarily. However, I will be flying Air Canada more now that Swoop is gone, because their prices aren't that bad if you book at the right time
I've flown Air Canada Vancouver to Tokyo in economy, about nine hours. While it wasn't the best flight I've had, it wasn't the worst either. Any "national" airline is by default bad since they know they're not going out of business if the service sucks. I can't imagine how unbelievably awful it would be if the U.S. had a national airline.
Air Canada is not a national Airline. It used to be owned by the government, but it was privatized in 1989. Federal government acquired 6.4% in 2021 to help the airline during the pandemic. They cut service to make more money for shareholders. On the other hand national airlines in the middle east get the highest satisfaction scores.
porter has no carry on , no seat selection at check in for their base fare and no ife, no/terrible loyalty. Air Canada over porter easily especially for the high fares porter charges for inferior product
I did say it makes sense to choose Air Canada if you can get 50K loyalty status. Otherwise just book based on price. Getting status on AC is not that easy, they charge a lot for Flex 100% SQM fares, Standard only gets 50% SQM, and Basic gets none. And free internet + entertainment over WIFI is better than seatback IFE in my opinion. But that's just personal preference.
Air Canada has the vast majority of the market. And it shows. The only areas where it even tries to lift its game is when it's in completion with Air Porter, otherwise they don't give a shit.
@@airalmond Yes. Porter is a huge threat to them, I think. Everyone loves Porter, so Air Canada must step up its game to stay ahead. However, in general Air Canada is not that bad of an airline
I don't think so. Their ticket prices are usually comparable to Porter and WestJet, and their basic ticket still includes a carry on. If they do free snacks permanently and add free wifi they will be a good North American airline, just like Porter.
Your back, I actually look on your page a few weeks ago and thought you stopped making videos.. can you please do an Alaska flight from Toronto to Seattle or Seattle to Toronto .
I'm back! Currently editing a Lufthansa 747 video. I haven't filmed an Alaska Airlines flight yet, but I'll try booking one next time I fly west. It might be a while before that happens, though.
Flying the same route YYZ-EWR soon. Was there a separate line for business class through the US security check in YYZ? And how was your connection experience in EWR?
There is priority for US security checkpoint. There is no priority for pre-clearance/passport check into US. I had a 12 hour layover so I took a train to the City. Since you go through border control in Toronto, you land into EWR as a “domestic” passenger so the connection experience is painless.
@@airalmond Thanks, good to know. i opt for 4.5 hr connection in EWR instead of the 2 hr on a later inbound flight. Guess I might have to find something to do to kill time!
Thanks, I appreciate your comment and I feel the same but RU-vid stats tell me that a lot of people click off when I do that. I now have a separate channel where I post unedited take-off, landings, and full flights. youtube.com/@temporarywindow
