The Data Point from Freedom Genomics LLC has two types of videos that support FreeGen's mission to Empower, Educate, and Discover... 1.) How-to videos intended for people working with, or interested in working with data - especially genomics data. They provide practical training to researchers/scientists on topics such as bioinformatics, next-generation sequencing, ‘omics, and other big data analyses. 2.) Informational videos intended for everyone. These look at aspects of data and science in everyday life, exploring cases where data get misused or misinterpreted, highlighting common pitfalls to look out for when interpreting data, and discussing the process by which science and scientists work to build scientific understandings.
