Thank you sooooo much for this recipe. Tried it out last night and they came out Perfectly for our climate in JHB South Africa in Winter. You made my job Alot easier and am Super Chuffed with the outcome :)
ISTG I have been so frustrated. My mum has a wall hanging - like a mobile - with fake soap bubbles 'falling down'. And I was trying to find either premade bubbles or ways to make them myself to fill up that decor piece....thank you so much for that tip <3 I've already tried resin (which might work for one or two but not that many), those acrylic christmas tree bubbles have that thick seam...anf honestly ypu might thing it would be easy to find clear balls with no seam
HAVENT seen you on youtube lately-i am hoping hard that this is due to you being so busy with your wonderful creations, making big time money- and just not having time - sorry my period button is stuck so i can only make one giant sentence LOL sorry :) anywho, i hope i am right !
So wild ... none of the farmer's markets where I live allow any kind of plastic packaging whatsoever. Everything MUST be paper and/or biodegradable. Cellophane is considered plastic according to the market management here in SE Florida. Because of that, I'm unable to sell shower steamers at market because of the insanely high humidity on a daily basis. Ah bummer, guess I'm still at a market-packaging stand still. 😫
I do single bombs in a half sheet of iridescent plastic tissue paper(Or clear) then, 2 half sheets of tissue paper with a cute raffia bow and my label. I can wrap ANYTHING this way, it depends on the amount of paper needed is all. If I'm retail, once sold, I slip those in an eco-friendly paper bag with handles and my logo STAMPED so I save a crap ton....I use white ink so you can see it for miles against my dark purple bags. I order the bags in solid colors or seasonal designs(Christmas). I display the bombs in BIG glass bowls some on different length wooden pedestals to give dimension and design to my table. I use smelling dishes(had a potter friend hand make- about the size of a ring keeper??) in front of each bowl with a name card so, they can see, touch and smell before buying without damaging my PACKAGED products. It keeps dirty hands out of my sanitary bath bombs! LOL. My regular customers have gotten to know their favorite smells by its color tissue paper....LOL. Example: Strawberry is 2 red papers with white bow, watermelon is grinch green over red with red bow, blueberry is navy blue and white. I've even started buying more elaborate tissue papers like the iridescent plastic paper and still I'm good on the price. The only thing with tissue paper...buy a sample before bulk because you want quality paper. Check it out! If it's cheap and see thru it lowers your look to the dump! You want the good stuff...not the dollar store kind. I mean, I'm only using half a sheet and a sheet costs me like 2 cents! By the time I'm done I spend 8 cents on packaging for one bath bomb. I've found this adds festive value because you can gift it like it is. Once home, it's even cute sitting by the tub. It screams USE ME NOW and GET MORE once it's gone. Tissue paper is CHEAP and so is Raffia ribbon. Sometimes, I find a good price on little trinkets to put on the raffia that the girls use for pendant necklaces. Also, I advertise with bracelets the teens like wearing. "How cute...where did you get that?" kinda thing. LOL. Anyway, I've just written a book....LOL. I drive an hour to get tissue paper from my local distributor. It saves me all the shipping costs to do so since I get other supplies while in town. Win. Win.
This has been the most helpful comment! Thank you for taking the time to write it. I just now decided to start doing research for bath bomb packaging, this is the first video I found, and your comment is exactly what I was looking for! Much gratitude 🙏
Hi, ive decided to make my own bath bombs because im picky and want to add fragrance oils that won't irritate me or have my sinuses all over the place.. My question is what ingredient is used to keep the dye from clinging to the tub or me for that matter because i also want to color the water blue..
My best selling type of product during the holidays are always bath bombs, but more specifically the holiday-themed bath bombs. BUT you can never go wrong with a eucalyptus or lavender bath bomb, those sell year round for me!
Thank you! Haha - bath bombs are very time consuming compared to other bath products. I don't blame you! I try to air brush as much as I can to make the process go faster :)
are those bathbomb molds or just regular silicone molds? I am binging your videos now lol just stumbled across this channel today. deeply inspiring! I want to purchase your products. I wish i was local to you to order and try.
These are plastic vacuum formed molds. Silicone molds would be too flimsy for bath bombs. And welcome to my channel!!! Thank you so much for watching!!!
hi, beautifulllllllllllllll. I would like to know where you got the tester stand from and the stand itself with directly behind the tub please? were they custom made or items from amazon as well. And the bubbles idea was just too adorable!! well done. You both are so stinking creative.
hello! Thank you so so much! Which tester stand are you referring to? I have a couple on the bookshelf behind it. Here is the link to the bookshelf (if that is what you are referring to!): www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BYSQZ7TD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This one I did not have a specific recipe, I used a failed batch of bath bomb powder as the base, which had SLSA in it to make it bubbly. I also made little heart bubble bars that would add to the bubbles when they are crushed under the running water. Using SLSA or buttermilk powder will always make it super bubbly!
☺I really love your packaging ideas, especially the clear bags with all the goodie inside. I'm looking for packaging for my retail shop as gift bags and your clear bag idea is so lovely and pretty. Thank you for doing this video and saying where you purchased them. So, helpful.
