Welcome to SAC Sports Adventures! My name's Spencer and I travel around North America visiting sports stadiums and reviewing the gameday experience. See my "Stadium Reviews" series to watch all those videos. In addition, I love collecting jerseys and will be showcasing some of my jersey collections and new pickups. Adventuring has also always been one of my passions so I'll also post videos from random adventures and car camping trips throughout the Midwest.
Stadium Review episodes are now brought to you in partnership with Pulltab Sports - A creative platform highlighting sports and culture across the upper Midwest. Check them out at pulltabsports.com as well as all their social media accounts!

my hometown team, probably one of the biggest fans. if you saw shaugabay playing, he's my favorite player. the "captains corner" also includes one of the side viewing spots disconnected from the bowl. wondering if you got to see any of the players after the game? sometimes there's a skate with after some games, or if you're lucky you can hangout in the lobby after the game after some of the players will come out of the locker room and you can meet them. they changed the team intro and now there's colored flashing lights. friends with the teams bus driver, so that's an add on to being friends with some of the players. truly an amazing experience and awesome venue every game!
7:42 not a flag waving thing. it's battle hymn of the republic and it's played pre-game for football because of tradition, but the "waving" motion by the crowd is because we play it when we sweep a team in a sport and we're sweeping them away (hockey, for example). awesome vid!
As a Brewers leader, i did not like the New York Mets because mr met and his family had kidnapped one of my brewers players named Tyrone Taylor, the Chicago Cubs, The Pittsburghs pirates, West Milwaukee intermediate School and the New York Mets are all traitors, because they are threatening Milwaukee to surrender, the Milwaukee admirals are not winning today because of West Milwaukee intermediate School threatened them to surrender, We and Wisconsin would always fight them back to make them surrender.
The reason for the crescent shaped upper deck is that every seat inside the foul poles has a direct sightline to 2nd base. It was a really well thought out stadium when constructed. Also, the original bullpens were perpendicular to the field with a row of seats up front for the players to watch next to the GA seats. During hot summer afternoon games, Closer Jeff Montgomery would spray the GA fans with the bullpen garden hose. Thanks for a great video.
Went to my first two Ads games this month during the playoffs. Living in Milwaukee this summer for an internship. Enjoyed the arena. Food has a neat variety of offerings. Only complaint was that the main bar in the lower level lacked in variety of chasers and they poured me the tiniest little shot when I ordered vodka. One thing I’d note is that you made the upper deck sound farther away than it is in reality. Yes it’s further back than a modern overhanging upper deck would be, BUT due to the lack of a club or suite level in between the upper and lower seats, it’s not as high up height-wise as many modern arenas have the last row. I like the arena as it is. I would not mind seeing it renovated in a manner similar to Northwestern’s Welsh-Ryan Arena (a manner that keeps its tight intimate sight-lines), but I also like it as is. Some vintage charm to its architecture inside and out. I’m kinda surprised though that the Wisconsin Center District hasn’t built a connection between it (and the theater) and the Baird Center convention center. I’d imagine if they had a skywalk connecting Baird Center, and a new atrium between the theater and arena it’d be a great improvement by allowing large conventions to use the theater and arena.
When you do wv I’d recommend the wvu country roads hockey jersey. Not only does it go hard but is lyk its wv but also we don’t have much besides the colleges :/
2 cool things about this stadium if bad weather starts to come in, they close the roof mid game, or sometimes even during innings! its really cool. also, after a win the lights on top of roof light up into a W, so all of Seattle sees it. it is really quite the ballpark.
The Buffaslug will always hold a special place in my heart. They wore them for my first few years living in upstate NY and it's iconic...lol. At least they were better than the Sabres' turd burger yellow jerseys! Let's GO Buffalo!!
I’d honestly have to say that the Pregame show and intro presentation was better 10 years ago. It was far more intense than it is now which I thought got the crowd going and the team more energy like this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--i7ssRr50rM.htmlsi=W0RRgE970vqRZC9S also to me it’s what makes me think gave them their playoff success.
Ski-U-Mah is a three part word/chant. Ski was the Dakota/Lakota battle cry for victory, U stands for the University...and Mah...rhymes with Rah...no shit. I went to the UofM and work at the UofM, I was working this game. I marched in the band for 3 years. I bleed Maroon and Gold and that is the no bullshit story of our chant.
If they ever did expand it, it wouldn’t be by closing off the horseshoe. If you look at it from above you can see there’s a bunch of empty roof area where the upper deck ends. That’s there so they could add a third upper deck if they needed to. While they definitely could fill in the horseshoe, I’m pretty sure that’s the last thing they’d want to do since it would ruin the view of Minneapolis. FTR, I highly doubt it will ever be expanded. And personally I don’t want it to be, I think it looks perfect as it is now, with the old school college vibe, and would say it’s probably the perfect size for Minnesota. Also if they ever got really good, and demand for tickets was high enough for one or two particular games, they could probably just move it across the river to US Bank Stadium provided it doesn’t conflict with the Vikings schedule. But I doubt deemed for the entire season will ever be great enough to justify raising the capacity.
