The metrics in the score are unfortunately way off. Appreciate the difficulty in transcribing the very rubato (and mind blowing beautiful) playing, but when putting so much effort into the task anyway, I’d suggest next time check the original song score as well.
This is very impressive. Appreciated. But it's not Keith Jarrett playing it. I tell you, there is something intangible for a painting, the way the artist executes the brush stokes, for music the attack, gentle or aggressive of the keys of the piano which makes in indelible and uniquely identifiable.
Very good transcription for an easy version. A bit disappointed about some nice melodic rythme that have been changed but it’s ok. BUT, why do you play it with such no feeling at all 😭😭😭 K Jarrett one is full of emotion and here I feel like it’s a robot playing 😢
Some LH parts are missing (also, the first chorus LH comping is Bb/F to Ab/Eb), and the MIDI horn-parts sections (i.e., the chordal hits) need to be notated to indicate hand separation. (Also, when they come back toward the end- the “shout chorus,” essentially- the right hand part is fuller (basically in 8ves with a note or two in the middle). Overall, nice transcription! Lyle is UBER difficult to transcribe (speaking from experience, one of THE MOST difficult pianists to transcribe for a variety of reasons), so great effort, and keep going!
Can I say it ? ThankYou Keith for exquisite beauty and thank you for playing Danny boy sans voice- Ofc this references Bill, I like Keith a lil better. Love seeing the score- what awesome times we live in-TY Uploader-
sir, many thanks for this rendition. i've listened several times now. you left is strong and on time. your right hands is quite good. its not Keith Jarrett, but it's close. may i suggest replaying this and when you come to the end of 25 and 145... put your heart into it. it's church music. make us want to shout please. i'm going to buy a keyboard just so i can learn what you've written. thank you
Hello I'm your RU-vid subscriber and a big fan. I was impressed when I saw Keith Jarrett's answer me sheet music you wrote. Thank you very much for turning this beautiful music into a score. If you don't mind, I'd like to get a score and play it. Could you share the score with me? It would be a great pleasure for me if I could get a score.
