We like the simple way of life and living the off-grid lifestyle. We are not trying to keep up with the Jones's. We are simple people living off the grid and loving life.
I wish I could find a video of someone who has done a remodel for this rv. I recently got one that is almost all gutted and want to turn it into the ultimate mancave for my hubby, but need a visual of how I can convert it. But this at least let's me know how it was originally set up.
Why was anybody interested in one of these in the 1960's. Come on I remember that in 1963 we had wash and eear clothes washer and dryer with soecial cycles. Wash clothes put un dryer hang up. No ironing. This methode of ringer washer hang clothes on clothes line and ironing was backwards time consuming inconvenient.

My 4x4 wasnt working at all. Switch said transfer case was engaging, and you could hear both transfer case motor and front axle motor working. We replaced the front axle actuator, and now it is working in Auto4, but still no power to the fronts in 4Hi or 4Lo. On a lift, you can grab a front tire and spin it, the other side will spin the opposite direction. But in the ground, there is no power to fronts, even tho i feel the binding when turning on pavement in drive and reverse. Tried doing a hill like this, and Auto4 climbed it, but 4Hi and 4Lo only spun the rears. So after replacing the front axle actuator, it now works just like the one in this video. Any ideas?
@OU-xc4os I put it in reverse and backed up the hill one night and spun the tires when it was raining and the gears meshed together and 4x4 had worked jut just up until i got rid of it last year. I took it to a a shop and that is what they told me as well as the gears are not meshing together I thought that they was just putting me off. and I spun the tires while it was in 4x4 and it kicked into 4x4 and has worked ever since.
I recently bought an ‘05 TrailBlazer LS with 167K miles on it and the previous owner was an old dude never used the 4x4 option, due to this the mechanical parts got jammed and would not switch into any 4x4 option and the selector lights would just blink and the 4x4 service light would litup in cluster panel. One day I was just trying to switch in 4Lo randomly and twisted the selector multiple times it finally engaged. Now all the 4x4 options work perfectly but the selector light blinking issue is the same and the 4x4 service light would still lit up. I dont wanna harm my vehicle so what could be the best thing to get this working correctly?
You can sand down the bottom of that (cool) machine, then use Top Coat Marine paint on it. People use that to re-finish bathtubs. That should work on this machine, there are a lot of RU-vid videos on how to do it. I'm so impressed with these old machines, that's when things were built to last, obviously! The agitators are very strong,. Thanks for sharing details about this machine!

Thank you for this video - this is quite helpful! I know you posted this video 5 years ago so I don't know if you still have this rig, but you might be able to help with my problem. I recently purchased a used TH 9000 D, the 220 MHz version. This unit was a display model at R and L Electronics. My problem is no one hearing me on TX. I have the offset and offset direction correctly set. When I key the mic, the meter shows full deflection, as if the radio is transmitting. Another ham and I tried simplex to see if it was a CTCSS problem. Nope, same problem on simplex. He even tuned up and down as I transmitted to see if the frequency was off. No joy. I can hear everything: repeater and on simplex, but it is as if there is no modulation on my TX signal. Please know I am grateful for any insight or advice you might have. Many thanks!
