I started wearing Swedish clogs 30 years ago. At that time I worked in an office. Dress code was business suits and high heels. A combination of wearing the high heels, tights, hot office with deep carpeting and I ended up with a bad case of athletes foot, to the point my feet were bleeding. Told a friend who's a nurse. She told me what ointment to get for the athletes foot - and to buy a pair of Swedish clogs and several pairs of cotton socks. To this day I have never had athletes foot again. My first pair of clogs which were white I wore out. I now have 3 pairs. 2 pairs of AM World of Clogs, one pair in black (my favourites) and one pair in red. I also have a pair of Sanita Danish clogs in brown leather. They all go great with jeans and I do everything in them even drive. They are really comfortable and when the weather gets colder, I just wear a thicker pair of socks with them.
I'm in my late 40s and I've been layering dresses over pants since I was a teenager. Love the way you layered your button down dress!! I'll now be on the lookout for button down dresses! BTW, just discovered your channel!! Love your look and style. You're giving me many ideas for how to wear my pieces. I'm a socks with clog sandals fan too!! Please keep making content.
