Wow, great framerate on this video. I didn't know escrow was just for real estate. I thought it was a general thing any two parties could use to ensure payment at end of terms.
I don't believe enough attention is given to the central part of DFW. The Arlington/Mansfield/Grand Prairie and HEB and Irving areas are near an expanding international airport--not to be dismissed in an interconnected global marketplace--and Arlington is investing heavily in building up an entertainment district and revitalizing its downtown region. The danger of explosive growth--like that to the north of DFW--is that it can fizzle as fast as it explodes as people look for the next shiny new thing. Growth should be sustainable economically, environmentally, allow for good mobility, and healthier lifestyles. Continued outward expansion will soon run up against Marchetti's constant and Braess's paradox which will dampen enthusiasm for continued sprawl. What opportunity and advantages DFW might have over other metros, including others within Texas, is a chance to try out the creation of multi-polar locations of density placed around the DFW area. Just where those will be located may vary, but certainly the urban cores of Fort Worth and Dallas as well as "created" urbanized cores such as Arlington's Entertainment district/downtown, possibly one on Fort Worth's west side, a Collin County core near Plano or McKinney and possibly a core in or near Alliance, Denton and perhaps a Sherman-Denison core as well. With wise leadership, it might also be possible to use A(G)I to coordinate governmental services and private sector services which serve the wider DFW communities using economies of scale, reduced duplication of services, more effective deployment of services, and better accountability. It could be a model for other large metro areas of the country, if we choose to do it.
My mortgage company doesnt allow for Escrow payments per month. Its either half or whole. So ever year im short in escrow by thousands because i cant drop double my mortgage payment in one month.

So... for someone who doesn't understand finances at all. This helped very little. I have to watch 4 more videos to understand some the terminology. It's still unclear why I would ever use an escrow account, but I hear the term all the time.

I feel you ever since the George Floyd shenanigans happened here in Minnesota it's been flooding with politics never used to be like this also the cost of living is going up ridiculously and it's already expensive to live here and the homeless population let's just say we have mini skid rows in every city here I lived in Texas for a few years I love it my father is a Texan so I'm from both worlds but tell you the truth I prefer New Mexico out in the desert somewhere where I don't have to pay property taxes my wife has Native American land out here it just has its own special peacefulness
I purchased my first home and i had to have an escrow account. Can they be trusted? Sometimes i would get a letter saying i overpaid so they kept the money and I’m hoping they applied it to the next payment. I dont know how much can you trust escrow accounts? Are they pretty accurate?

Because very very few people will work way harder and way longer for half of the revenue. I know nearly all Realtors would move on to another career. Consumers would not enjoy that massive increase in liability and effort even though cheaper does sound better.
Silly question, but because it's a third party, has there ever been a situation where someone would steal money out of that escrow account and the buyer gets f*** when the money is needed to go wherever it needs to go to? I would hate when tax time comes and I have nothing in escrow to pay for prop tax.

I am looking to relocate once my youngest child graduates from high school I’m looking to move to one of the three Houston Dallas, Austin I’m really confused as to which one I want to settle my boots in so to speak. I will be buying my very first home and I know and understand that the market is very volatile. It's expensive to live here because of all the drifters moving here. I meet so many people who don't have family moving here and then move back because its too expensive to live here. You can't get an apartment unless you make 3x the rent, property taxes are 11k. Mortgage rate is like 4k a month. If you listen to this person and you don't make enough, you will lose thousands of dollars quickly. 💯
If some people can not accept "DFFW" representing Dallas metro! Northern Dallas suburb, which has, at least, 1.5 millions population with further strong growing, should try to be separated from Dallas and create its own metro name and image. This will be, at least, making Real Estate agent's job much easier. Otherwise, out of state customers, who has no knowlege of northern Dallas flourish suburb, will have the first bad impression about cities northern of Frisco of too far from the Amenity and entertainment center of DFFW metro. Fort Worth surrounding far-away cities do not have this issue becuau....
