Please be the first to react to Kate Bush's 'The Wedding List' live 1981. She sings with a band for that one off performance where every band member is a superstar and I love their version of her song
😂😂😂😊 just where did you get that Ringo played acoustic guitar? You repeat it twice too... Oh please he played no other instruments than drums, percussions....he did sing though 😊
They seemed to always go after a complete concept in each album. He realise that her GF has crossed him, and then he is a looser. Just an example. Cheers M8.
Watch her in the Pirreets of Penzance when she went into opera. It is hilarious! I am not sure if she is still alivr, but I think she has some kind of senile dementia which is a tragedy for anybody
By the way: She was pushed into her world-career by a German TV-Show called "Bios Bahnhof", what's not the only one but her (Kate Bush, Helen Schneider).. The Host was very impressed by art and showed a lot of newcomers. His name was ALFRED BIOLEK, a real sponsor! R.I.P.!!! Kate Bush' 1st TV Appearance WAS at Biolek's show ("Bios Bahnhof") and he LOVED it, she did it barefoot... :o)
Men who do reactions to Carpenters videos, for the most part get the same look in their eyes. A whistful look of some universal love at the sound of Karen’s voice. There is nothing more beautiful than the recognition of beauty. You have that look.
We had them all to listen too. Every album one after the other. I listened to meet the beatles when it first came out. Started smoking pot a few years later and getting off we went. Now I love the beatles best
I could watch this a million times and each time it is as magical... like the first time. Never gets old. Always such pure raw emotions that cannot be explained. Pure magic. Divine.
She grew after her india trip had time to look at life a little deeper great song about expanding your mind to be more acceptable to lifes ups and downs
Introduced there by Alan Price, for me there is only one Fleetwood Mac! After Peter Green left they should have changed their name as they changed the genre of their music . Amazing voice and songs!
This was my first record, a birthday present. I was 11 years old then. I’m 71 now. I Want To Hold Your Hand was on the flip side. Stunning memory, thank you!
This song will be a classic forever: the face, the voice, the lyrics & soundtrack. I heard this song played loudly at a hardware store today and just was lost in the song and the memories again. I hasn't been mentioned but I really like the striking use of the double bass. It first comes in strongly at 1:40 in the video. Then its placed perfectly in various places to give added a courser texture giving a flavorful punchy counterbalance to the rest of the very smooth instruments in this composition. The double bass is one of the last instruments heard at the fade out too. I like your description at 2:14, "Christmas vibes" and "sprinkling of stardust". For me, the instruments and lyrics in this soundtrack is maybe like tasting Christmas nutmeg for the first time.
