I do not, sorry. In all honesty I haven’t played SnowRunner in a good while. I also have not used my wheel in a while. I use a g29 so that’s what I’m most familiar with. That being said wheels work with SnowRunner but the game really wasn’t designed to be played with a wheel and the implementation is pretty poor from Sabers part.
@@Azeridon Thanks for the nice answer! Recently, I had the same fight and the enemies were way stronger, even with mini-boss health bars like MaxTac. Shortly after my comment here, I discovered, that I had some nasty mod installed, that somehow enhanced the enemies strength. It was not impossible, but since I already play on "Very Hard" enhancing the enemies even more was a real pain. :D Everything is fixed now. Thank you! :D
Okay, I think I have figured something out. As of today, 23/09/2024 - deaths on the water slide DO NOT count on contagion mode. Let me explain: The other day, I was trying to do a no-death run on contagion mode. I was killed by an enemy, and the save icon popped up in the bottom right of the screen as soon as the death animation began. I started again. When I got to the water slide, I accidentally got caught on one of the fans... but the save icon didn't appear, which means the game did not save upon death. I am playing on xbox series x
@@Inconvenient_NPC idk man I wouldn’t risk the trophy not popping if that’s what your going for. I’d reload from the cloud and try again. As long as you follow the cloud saving instructions. Edit: sorry…achievement in your case. Lol
@@Chry-s9c No. The game immediately autosaves as soon as you die. If you are going for the trophy to complete contagion mode without dying then you have to use the cloud saving method I describe.
Thank you for this video, I was so done with Bloody Whiskers at this point and the relatively consistent phase 2 and 3 advice really helped. My only problem was that in phase 3 he could randomly do a diagonal tongue pull into the ground which often instakilled me. He also had additional attacks in phase 2, but those weren't a big issue.
I’m gonna be honest with you. I haven’t played SnowRunner with my wheel in a while. What platform are you playing on? I’ve always seen that setting on the ps4/ps5 versions but I haven’t been in those settings in some time.
I recently got back into the game and purchased the Mastadon DLC so far that truck has helped me a lot with Michigan. Do you recommend getting the Tayga still I mostly play solo so trying to get every advantage I can lol 😂
Just started this game a couple weeks ago. I've been sticking around chapter 2 delivering lost cargo and doing standard deliveries. You can get the power skeleton from the distribution warehouse. At the rate I'm going, part 2 will have been out for quite some time before I complete this one. On the bright side, I won't have to pay full price for it.
Planning to buy Logitech g29 soon specifically for this game as I don't play other games. I play with a controller but felt like I needed a change so I thought of playing with a wheel. But is the wheel frustrating in this game in matters of camera rotation and setting GPS on the map etc? I'm really concerned about that!. Thanks for the vid 👍
@@palusqui yes camera rotation is frustrating but it is possible with long holds on the dpad on the face of the wheel. There’s also a spinning disc that spins the camera but it’s very slow and not great to use. I’d recommend the dpad. As for the map you can open the map and navigate the menu for contracts and tasks but you can’t do anything else. The good news is that you can also just have a controller connected and nearby. The game will swap seamlessly when you touch a button on either device. Hope this helps!
@@oxmate I don’t have any experience with a Moza wheel or know if it’s even compatible with the game. To be honest wheels are not the best way to play. It is fun yes and using a shifter is nice as “gear” changing is much simpler but you’re still playing the game in auto there is no manual option. Shifters just allow you to easily change into low, high, auto and reverse without using another button as a clutch. My videos about wheels and SnowRunner all pertain to Logitech. So I’d be no help for any other brand. Sorry.
@@oxmate support.saber.games/hc/en-us/articles/12151053210897-SnowRunner-Steering-Wheels it doesn’t look like Moza is compatible with the game. You can view the list of compatible wheels from Saber’s website.
You have my deepest gratitude for making this video! I would have been stuck on this fool for so damn long! If it weren’t for you and this video! I mean just staying in the middle a simple yet genius solution! Thank you so damn much mate! Your efforts helped a lot of people and for that I have to thank you… AGAIN! And one last thing hopefully you wonderful person have an amazing week! 👍
I don’t know if it’s really a mistake I did but for some reason when I started out I switched to smithville dam and stayed there, I’m almost finished with it and once I am I will go back to black river to finish that map and continue with my journey.❤❤
I’m playing the directors cut right now, but I feel like I’m almost done. I love this game. Here’s a great tip that I can offer, having discovered it myself: for those who want to get every city, distribution center, and prepper up to five stars, you can select the icon on the map, press triangle, and it will tell you what places have deliveries to that place you’re trying to level up. Then, you can plan your routes accordingly.
I’m currently playing on Contagion mode. As much as I hated it, I prefer Hardcore over Contagion. The You Belong Here trophy seems impossible with how the game glitches on me.
@@EccentricGaming2013 Contagion is arguably easier but that trophy for sure is difficult. I’d strongly recommend using cloud saves every chapter like I mention in this video. No reason to be sweaty over a single player video game just for a trophy. Cheese that shit my dude!
@@EccentricGaming2013 I just disabled auto upload of cloud saves for CP. Then as soon as the chapter title pops up on screen you quit the game. Then go into your cloud saves and UPLOAD your save. Re open the game and continue on. Do this at every chapter. It should still work. It’s very important if you die though that you immediately close the game. Go to cloud saves and DOWNLOAD your previous upload. You start back at the beginning of whatever chapter it was on but it will not void the trophy.
All I have in the beginning is that terrible pickup truck and I'm stuck in the mud right out of the gate. I don't think this game is for me, and I loved the driving/logistics in Death Stranding. But not even being able to get out of the first area is too frustrating for me.
@@tekch1c silly question but…did you enable AWD? I think that’s an option at the start with that truck. I forget tbh it’s been a while. But the game is difficult in the beginning for sure.
@@Azeridon OMG... this made the difference! I have no idea how it toggled off. I just restarted the tutorial and it was on, and I finally got to the second truck now. Thank you! The controls are a bit of a challenge. I was winching everywhere, nothing was dragging me out of that mud. :D
Hey, is there a way to shift into lower gears without the actual shifter you can get with the g29? Like is there a way to move from auto to say low or low- with just the wheel and or pedals?
@@aidengodina1562 oh! I’m sorry I totally misunderstood. Yes. The left paddle or the clutch pedal both act as L1/Lb (the clutch) then you can use the dpad on the wheel to change gears. You can’t just cycle through them with the paddles if that’s what you’re asking. The paddles are basically L1 & R1. So clutch and handbrake.
Hey thanks! i played a lot way back when we had no directors cut Im just now comming back to try directors cut for a hard mode with my own rules, no vehicles and and exoeskeletons, ano no ziplines. Level 1 equips only. And no online. Ill try go for everything after that, theres a some fun new stuff to go crazy ✊
I think the worst thing about this game is the automatic shifting and just the general throttle input the driver decides to give, because it's not at all what you're pressing. You can just be jamming up a perfect straight away. Trying to keep some momentum to get through some mud and the driver will just completely miss gears and stop for no reason, then you hold the throttle maxed out for about 10-15 seconds before any movement occurs, engine clearly isn't making any RPM. It's bewildering, and I'm kind of an off-road enthusiast in real life. I would never drive like that, you clutch it and get down into the next gear lower when you're headed into trouble, You don't just take it out of gear and come to a complete stop and then gently accelerate out after you check your phone or whatever he's doing LOL
Honestly…I don’t know. I’ve been really busy lately with my job. I’d like to but I just haven’t had the time unfortunately. I also was really annoyed when I recorded the last two episodes I uploaded and realized my mic was muted. So it just made me want to take a break. I’ll come back but I’m not sure on when. Thanks for watching though!
Why not right, yea it takes some getting used to, however I'm glad more new players are playing Directors Cut because it just has stuff that the game should've had already. Directors Cut really should have been the only way for this game to release. The first couple hours will feel like one big tutorial though, but videos like these surely helps.
@@BadMothaKalashnikov I agree, I'm lucky to have bought Directors Cut since I didn't know there was much difference, and it feels more rewarding with a challenge too. What really helps is all the Online structures. I make sure to leave at least one like for people. I can see similarities to Metal Gear, Hideo Kojima certainly has a unique style
You pretty much need to also have a controller available. For map usage and easier camera control. I can use the little spinning dial but it’s really slow. Other option is holding down a direction on the dpad.
I explained at 2:00 mark to set the wheel preset to common console preset. Pushing the button inside the red spinning dial should then open the map. You can’t navigate the map though without a controller. You can use the menu in the map no problem but actually moving the map and zooming you need a controller. Also, yes the red spinning dial should rotate your view as long as you have common console preset enabled. It’s really slow though so not useful.
You need to go to the sawmill with a truck with a bed or a trailer. You should be able to load planks from the zone there. The map should also have ⬆️ on the map meaning this is a place where you can pick up the cargo you need.
Do we have to start a complete game again in bloody mustache mode to reach this boss? because I have already finished the game but I would like to obtain the trophy linked
Currently laughing at bloody mustache mode. Lmao. Well yes I don’t think there’s any way to get there other than playing the game again. How did you not get the trophy the first time? Or have you not played Bloody Whiskers mode at all? This trophy is only obtainable in that mode and you’ll have to play all the way through to get to him.
