Youth to Youth’s mission is to engage young people through meaningful discussions, activities, and experiences to develop and implement their own ideas to create positive change. For over 33 years, Youth to Youth has led the way in effective prevention programming with youth in the forefront. Bringing youth together with a common bond of living free of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs, allows them to serve as role models to their peers and younger students.
Research on adolescent development confirms that when adolescents feel safe and secure, loved and accepted, and have a sense of purpose and meaning in life they are less likely to engage in unhealthy misguided behaviors; this is the premise of the Youth to Youth model. Our original youth-driven, adult guided programming has set the standard for youth development and prevention programming across this country and around the world.
Agreed. I have first hand experience of this. I was a very smart kid. My memory and ability to recall words, faces, and people is nil now. I used to learn so fast. Now im dumb.

Romans 8:24-25 ~ For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.
Love this guys lets share love and joy with our youth come on now. Let the older generation teach the younger generation what not to do and what things to avoid so that we as the younger generation won't make the same mistakes. As a grandmother of (3) grandchildren 1-18 yr old granddaughter & 12 yr old twin boys) I’ve noticed such a distance from the kids & we love them so much & I wanted to understand if there were any signs we are missing. I told my husband their grandpa I think our babies are depressed. It’s my job to help their parents find the help they need even though they act as if they are ok. Thank you for such great content.❤️
Broken people.. Not even adults. Its sad to see. With the increasing amount of youth in need of psychiatric help the world is heading in the wrong direction. I think social media is devastating. It could be good, but it's not used in that way most of the time. People explore others to reflect their on own life. We don't explore ourselves as much anymore. That is a self damaging action but we do have a choice.. I think some people don't believe that. The fact is though, you have to build yourself up and surround yourself with decent people. In real life as well as through Internet. But the latter is hard since almost everything is based on ads, money and views. Still people desperately choose that way of empowering themselves. It's like they don't now of any other way.
