Is the Hakko 951 good? Yuh need fi start make longer form videos and show the work and the equipment yuh use. Me myself a do dis as a hobby for along time, but never know anything about how to take care of my soldering iron and equipment until i found r/soldering, r/electronics and r/askelectronics on Reddit. Now i have better equipment, chinese though Can't afford Hakko, JBC, Pace or Metcal in a jamaica yah, but still good and know how to take care of them. Mi rate seeing your workbench, yuh fi do a tour.

Nice but what about the other half? I have a few problems on some of these. One acts a bit funny clips all of a sudden, can make a slight electronic noise through the speakers. Another makes a high pitch squeal as the power supply starts up but it's working. The Digam 5000 has a hum through one side but when you plug the xlr in to a dsp the hum goes. Seems like an earthing issue in the pre amp or xlr / balancing circuit. Hum is only there with vol is turned up and no xlr plugged in. Any ideas?
