I had a heart attack & the next day i had stroke on my left which affected my right side. I can walk now with a cane, but I haven't made it back to quilting. My first outing was Roseville quilt show.
I am making a wall-hanging quilt depicting imagination. I painted rainbow stripes on tulle. I am now making a Tardis from the TV show Dr. Who, flying through time and space. I am using the tulle to surround the Tardis and plan to use Jaquard’s Lumiere metallic paint to paint two or three celestial bodies. Then I will hand embroider stars, and finish with a facing with corner pockets for hanging. At least that’s the goal.
Not only do you have an inspiring store-story, your enthusiasm is infectious. I wish I lived near you in, but Texas isn't next door. I know I'd feel welcome in the store and the community. Thank you for sharing.
