Fireclean is trash. Will gum up your guns to the point of not working. You are 100 times better off using WD40. Fire clean is will gum up your guns and is trash
You're absolutely right. As a rightie who is a left-handed shooter, I discovered I could reload much faster than the normies around me in basic training with that finger trick, helped by the fact the rest of the necessary functions were being performed by my dominant hand. If you have a carbine, I think it makes for a really quick L-shape mag swap.
Being a lefty is something we just deal with in a right handed world. I write, shoot a bow, and shoot firearms left handed. I also waterski with the right foot forward which would be considered left handed. I play guitar, drums, golf, swing a bat right handed. I’m glad I found this video. Thank you sir👍🏻🇺🇸
Not my experience. The gen 5 coating has been really good and is the next best from the old gen 3 frying pan finish. Worse was the gen 4. I see lots of gen 4 guns coming back in on trades and most look far worse than the older gen 3 or gen 5 guns. I personally never purchased a gen 4 gun because of how bad the finish on them was.
I just purchased a 34 (10 day waiting period in ca), and thinking about doing some competitions. I noticed just handling it in the store it was going to dig into my hand. I will have to try this. I figured it may be grinded for a smoother feel. It looks like you are releasing the mag with your middle finger, how is that working for you in matches? Have you had it stick at all? We only have the gen 3 in Ca, and I do not think it can be switched to the right side as easy as the 4th and 5th.
Unfortunately we have people reloading ammo who shouldn't. I don't own a glock and would not take one for free. However reliability, accuracy and good sights are not the reason I don't own one. I would recommend them to anyone who can deal with the awkward grip angle and blockie looks. I have never seen one just blow up, nor can I ever remember seeing one malfunction.
DOes anyone know for a kimber micro 9 if you buy the full size bushings or the slim size bushings... I wish and would buy both if i had a little more money
It's weird... I'm right handed but... I can only shoot left handed. Rifle and pistol both... I caught a bunch of crap in basic training about shooting left.
I did a testors flat black paint with a toothpick. No sharpie look but it really don’t matter. Just me. Front is green Ameriglo on a G42. Thanks for the update. “Turn that fucker around”. Lolol
9mm is around 35,000 psi and the 40 S&W is 35,001 psi, where's the higher pressure? Have seen a lot of bad 40 S&W ammunition from 1994--1995 and will only shoot newer 40 S&W ammo. Unfortunately if you get bad ammunition and have a case failure? There's little you can do to prevent it, even happens with new factory ammo from time to time.
Ok, some good info here. I don't see the mag release as a real benefit though. If I have time to drop the mag in a pouch, I have time enough to find the button with whichever hand necessary. For an emergency reload, when I flick the empty mag out while bringing a new one up with my right hand, I really need that ambi mag release.I've also had accidental mag releases when my rifle was strapped to back because the release button was pressed in by my spine. And I would like to add to the pistol, that with big hands, a one-handed brass check is also much smoother than for righties.
I love my agency arms meg well for my gen 3 it’s beat the fuck up but it’s still doing good I’m thinking of getting the gen 3 competition Magwell just for the brass grip plug and tungsten weights but using the magwell I already have Im wondering if that will work
Thank you sir I’ve had several Gen 5s but this was my first Gen 4s and I couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the slide release. Which I found your video about an hour ago.
I was naturally a lefty. Dad was convinced they didn’t make pens, scissors, or desk, for left handed people. Forced me to be right handed. Sent me to a special class that taught me to write print and cursive with both left and right with both hands, feet, and nose. Was rather strange to me really but I complied. Became a bit dislexic over it. Mostly got over it but still sometimes mix up b’s and d’s as the motor functions for one in one hand create the other in the other hand. But I’m all over the place whit what hand I use for different task. I can drive nails with either, throw a ball left. I work on a towboat and I throw single part lines left, and doubles right. I shoot long guns right. I didn’t get into pistols till much later, and when I did I simply practiced right. Never really gained much and for years I just lost interest. Never seen the point. Kept a few handguns around, but it never was my passion until I got robbed. Then I understood what pistols were for. Admittedly I’m hard headed like my dad. So I decided to get my concealed carry permit directly before Texas quit requiring it. I started getting more serious about learning to be accurate with a handgun. But I still felt it wasn’t good enough tho it seemed I was topped out. Then one day just for shits and giggles I tried left. Immediate improvement in my groups. Started practicing left and further improved. I’m embarrassed that it took me 30 some odd years as a natural lefty to figure out to put the damn handgun in my left hand. Oh well. I’m really not great with either, but I feel proficient enough that I can get by. No matter how decent of a group I throw down with a pistol it looks like crap beside what I’m used to seeing from a rifle. Thanks for the video. You brought up some points I never even considered. I am not a very tactical person admittedly. But I play that to my favor in my daily carry set up as nobody is going to expect that from me even a little. You ever hear about someone from the overall mafia dirt napping a second time robber in the news...that’s probably me. My edc looks like a wallet, or a cell phone until it looks like a gun. By then it’s too late.
