My advice would eb to play the varient of Shining Sarcophagus with White Forest and Toybox. I'm running 45 card deck at the moment and the synergy between those archtypes is CRAZY. I'm also waiting on when I can afford those Mulcharmy Puralias
Destined rivals should have had the effect "if you control dark spellcaster or light dragon, you can...., if you control dark magician or blue eyes white dragon, you can activate this card from your hand, then negate all monster effects your opponent controls until the end phase". Harpies feather storm for dm and blue eyes, C'MON! Why harpies should have something like this and not us?
You can make Guardian Chimera with Super Poly. It takes “3 monsters with different names Must first be Fusion Summoned using only Fusion Materials from your hand and field, with at least 1 monster from each.”
@@teamdarkmagicattack with atleast 1 from each, so you must use a card from hand. Super poly cant use materials from hand, so you cannot summon chimera with it
@@teamdarkmagicattack you can also play one yubel fusion if your locals has yubel players, but earth golem is a little more practical since most dominating decks leave an IP on field
Great deck profile! Kashtira engine is a good add on this deck, there’s also good card which you should try test it later, called “ Soul Release“ Also can you post a new deck profile about the new summon skill monster , ill be thankful
DARK MAGICIAN needs it's own link monsters in the archetype LIKE A LINK 3 DM GIRL & LINK 4 DM to be competitive instead of rogue and tier 3 with impure builds

i dont recommend the soul trap card if it gets popped your field gets cleared :s there's other ways generally without having 1 card clear your board because your opponent used MST Dark Magician is great to have on the field if you have the support cards that go with it lol and believe it or not there's a *lot* of support cards for it that spam themselves out just as much
use dark magician with despia or another deck on master duel im using Branded ,with sword soul and vanquish soul it's a good solid deck because some engines work well for example if you have vanquish soul link monster out and branded in hand you summon mirror jade fast
Yeah I’ve used Branded in DM for a good while. It super consistent tbh. For a bit I was on a DM chimera build. It was weird, but it somehow worked out for the most part. Not a lot of consistency, but was nice getting a strong board set up.
You know how Konami could improve Magician’s Rod right now? Reprint it as an Ultra/Secret Rare. The card will most definitely be better. Ngl I wish it searched on Special Summon as well. There would be a couple plays through cards like Selene or Monster Reborn style cards to give some extra value to it.
Yeah, it’s nutz how power crept it is. I’ve been playing shining sarcophagus the past few weeks and whatnot and it’s amazing how gadget can search on Normal or special.
recently downloaded gba wc06 and was playing a different dimension XYZ dragon cannon deck and got inspired to play more early builds for kaibas little contact fusion machines, this helped alongside the hype for the new retrains that work like ABC
New dark magician knight idea: (Quick effect); tribute 1 dark magician, then special summon this card from your hand. If this card is summoned this way, send 1 card on the field to the top of its owner's deck.
This collection was a disappointment for a lot of players. But to me and every Dark Magician player, it’s amazing. I finally get IOC as an Ultra Rare and now I have the option to get it as QCSR. Also love Fusion Deployment as QCSR. So many wins for us.
If they make a fusion spell that makes all fusions dark magician. They can make esoul an actual good card if they give the fusion spell a second effect. “A fusion monster summoned by this spell gains the following effect: If this monster is destroyed by the owners card effect, special summon this monster
I don’t hate Secrets of Dark Magic by any means. The thing I don’t like about the card though, is that our decks main combo lines don’t inherently plus us enough to take any actual advantage of SODM. In theory, SODM and even Monster Timaeus are designed in a way that each wave of new support we get should only make those cards better. (Imagine if we got a new wave of 4-5 support cards that was as great as Magical Hero’s or Battles of Chaos.) As long as the cards improve our combo lines, our current in-archetype fusing methods should improve as well. But our deck just isn’t at that point. Heck, even Toy Box doesn’t care that much about them. Toy Box uses Cartesia and even Proxy F Magician better than it can use SODM lol.
Honestly I’ve been waiting for a magical hats, mystic box, and a dark curtain retrain. That’d be cool in a new set or something. Hopefully soon! But yeah I get what you’re saying overall.

I think it would be fuuny to summon aluber off witch to search branded fusion for a follow up play. The branded line can also help eat through the extra deck.
Dark Magician the Ebon Sorcerer gives great reason for DM to run Gold Sarc of Light, since it's searched off GSoL & it's a free SS from the hand DM to activate Circle going second. Otherwise if you want a DM on board on your first turn you'd have to use Illusion to search for Soul & neglect searching out Rod. If you go first you can sit on him for a search + a meat shield or if you have Ash or one of the other lvl 3 tuner handtraps you can make Baronne de Fleur & have that negate in addition to your normal DM turn 1 setup. Only problem is if you want to SEARCH GSoL you'd need to normal summon the Gadget which means no Rod, but Ebon is totally a 1 of card anyways & you can ship him home with Illusion if he's a brick. I think instead of making GSoL an independent thing they want to make it the core of a Yugi pile deck which would naturally include Dark Magician. After all, if you package GSoL for Ebon, why not also bring Gandora? He's awesome for going second, you can wipe the board, SS Silent Magician from the deck as a free negate then if the hand allows fuse Gandora away for Dragon Knight to protect your backrow. I'm just improving of course, not like I've tested shit EDIT: also just occurred to me that Ebon Sorcerer can search Circle so it could be used as a replacement for Rod when you destroy him with Gandora
