Легче было бы дрона запрограммировать на камикадзе, вот пилоты дронов-камикадзе это демонстрируют довольно хорошо плюс меньше шансов что машина сгорит.
Because an aircraft carrier group would travel without any aerial escort and was incapable of seeing silly drones hovering in large swarm that could be taken out en masse with a single big missile or even an EMP weapon?
Only ruSSian orks could have fallen for such a trap (and they did... over and over again). Tank column rumbling happily over an open road without any screening elements and not watching the sky? Also - a bunch of drones hovering over the road would be so stupid... the advantage of HIMARS and similar system is that it fires rapidly and bugs out - lengthy delay of silly hovering drones only makes the salvo less effective. Loitering ammunition is real but it is designed rather differently.
but why? this would be so much more expensive, not to mention a regular US military hellfire missile (wich im assuming is what it's based on) already costs 2M USD
this....actually does not seems to be an absolutely insane idea compared to the others. there are probely some reasons it wont work, but this at least seems plausible and sensible from a first look
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MMFzlwzFgKw.html This thing effectively tracks and shoots down objects as small as mortars and missiles flying twice the speed of sound and there are multiple on every vessle in a fleet now. So your side attacks are pointless. Straight up not so much for a c-ram but that's not an issue as obliterating something directly above you is the specialty of good old fashion flak cannons and I imagine they would do quite a number of floating explosives that would daisy chain from one to the next. The moment one round of flak detonated in that formation they would domino raining down debris that the few potentially remaining missiles would now have to navigate on their way to the target else go around and face a longer approach and into the rounds of a c-ram. This is scifi and I love the animation but the concepts aren't grounded in actual Military or engineering reality. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MMFzlwzFgKw.html
Make sci-fi movies not investor pitches... you are applying your talents to the wrong market and the result are concepts that simply wont fly... and if they did would kill people.
