I am one of the few African women to obtain a direct PhD in Engineering with a bachelors in Environmental Science; plus accumulated 15+ academic awards/honors in the process. I am currently a Ghanaian immigrant in the US practicing as a professional Environmental Engineer.
On this channel, I intend to share bits of my educational and career journey as well as tips for personal development. The aim is to help students and early career professionals thrive in their endeavors. I also intend to use this channel to address questions I frequently get asked.

Indeed Comparison is the thief of joy. For me anytime I’m tempted to feel left behind I look at the big picture ahead of me especially where I anticipate to be and the fact that I’m on my way to getting there even though there might me obstacles. Most importantly we serve a God that has assured us of never disappointing us hence the zeal to keep moving and working hard to reach my dreams. And also if any of my friends achieves something phenomenal. I try my best to celebrate with them because of course I’ll need them by my side when it’s my turn to be celebrated.😂 There are times and seasons and everyone has a unique timing.
