My channel is dedicated to reviewing, unboxing and discussing hobbies, home decor, replicas, art and other collectibles and artifacts. I have many hobbies in the historical, fantasy, and science fiction genres which have inspired over the years my personal collection of purchases. I found myself browsing RU-vid and google for similar reviews and unboxing videos which inspired me to start a channel of my own. Movie and comic prop replicas will be intertwined with historical or contemporary art and sculpture on this channel. My hope is that others can get a quick, down to earth review of specific collectibles, decor or replicas that they have had their eye on or might be interested in.
@@theurgeartifacts His returning after that daemon blasted him off the deck and into space, with him continuing to fight without a helmet was one of the most badass things in the lore.
I think it's weird when people are surprised by the Bjorn link in prospero burns. I mean, how could you not see that from miles away, it is literally the meaning of his name.
I guess it depends if you are looking for it or not or how much space wolves 40k you know. I recall realizing that about halfway through the book but in the beginning of the novel, being too immersed to notice
Congratulations, it's beautiful, but a question, on the hilt, specifically on the guard, should the middle button be gold? And in several other videos and photos I see it in a dark or silver color, as if they had forgotten to put gold on it.
I believe its the new "museum" version, it is the silver color with previous editions being gold. This is supposed to be the most movie accurate and they made some updates.
A classic series deserving of a good collectible book set. My mother has a large picture book version of The Hobbit which was my first big book read as a youth.
@@theurgeartifacts I was just commenting because your last reply was 2 weeks ago. Glad you had a better experience, but others aren't so happy including myself. Luckily I only sent that bum $100 deposit.
First off, this is an awesome video. Do you plan to do a similar list of the Siege of Terra or Primarch novels? Secondly, what is the music that you used in this video? It is pretty epic!
First off, thank you! And yes, I will definitely do for both the Siege and Primarch series. Probably the Siege first and in the near future but going to see if that anthology gets announced. The music is from IMovie, and is called “Road to Glory” by Joseph Trapenese. Def epic!
Wow ! I was born in 1971 & this was one of my favorite Cartoons ✌🏾& somebody out there needs to stop playing with my emotions, and go ahead and make a ThunderCats live action Movie 🎥 Hooooooooo !
@@theurgeartifacts I sure hope so & I am going to look that gentleman’s name up who made that claw, because I am in the process of making one of my bedrooms over, and my theme is going to have a Video Game / Cartoon / Comic Book kind of feel to it. I went on TEMU & somebody out there created a replica of the Sword Of Omens, and it is made out of steel ( & I absolutely love it 😍 ) and it has the little stones and it even has it’s own sheath. It weights at least 5 to 6 pounds and it is 48 inches long. I couldn’t believe it, and that Sword took me back. 👊🏾✌🏾😮 Hoooooooooo !
@@theurgeartifacts Oh that claw totally rocks ! And it is great to see these inspiring artists put their talents to use. I just wish that I could make something so unique, but I just can’t, but I certainly admire others ✌🏾 & you stay safe my friend 👊🏾✌🏾
Saw your reddit post and checked this out. Really cool analysis and I've got to say I share a lot of your taste in the books. Love that you found cool moments and highlighted them even in books you didn't enjoy so much.
Thanks man!! That’s what I was hoping for with the ranking list. I am definitely not about bashing all the books. I honestly enjoyed all the books far more than I didn’t. And was hoping highlight very specific moments from each. What would be your top three?
The sword is dazzlingly beautiful. The next batch of Andurils will be delivered to me, Can I ask you a few questions? I'm going to wipe off the shipping oil on the sword with a cloth and then polish it once more with UC's metal glo. Next, I'm going to coat it with Renaissance wax. Is this correct? Also, is there shipping oil on the handle? Does this also require separate management?
The handle seemed fine. Maybe a little residue. Based on what I’ve read, those sound like some good steps to take and I like both of those products also
@@theurgeartifacts alright cause I wanted to double check sense it's made from reinforced fiberglass not to familiar with it so that's why i brought up the question
I was joking in regards to your name. This is definitely more of a collectible, not to be used for actual self defense. I mean anything could but I’d look elsewhere for self defense
I’d give this one a quality rank. It’s made nice and detailed but not as awe inspiring as some other collectibles to me on a personal level, even if it did slay the Night King!
Aside from the mounting plaque stuff, here is the quote from the description that says the differences: “The surface polish is finer, the engraved blade runes are more accurately rendered and detailed, and the fuller grooves are the exact length of the movie version’s.” I don’t have the original but I know there are some other videos comparing the two.
They are so detailed and enjoyable to read. I’m progressing through Shadow of the Erdtree (which is amazing) and I hope they make a third book for the DLC
@@theurgeartifacts they have pre-orders open for vol III which I think covers the DLC, it ships next month. Tempted to get it but I am nowhere near that point in the game (I think...)
Oh wow. Hadn’t seen it up for pre order yet. Thanks! I’ll probably be close to being done with the DLC then. What zone of the game are you currently in?
