This channel author is a liar. Kalmykia and Kalmyk are what the Russians call them, they call themselves and their country differently, no one imposed any name. There is no occupation and there cannot be; the Oirats came to these lands when these lands were already part of Russia. After the revolution of 17, not only Buddhists, but all religious confessions suffered, and Kalmyks were not the only ones deported during Stalin’s time. It was terrible, but it was not precisely the oppression of the Kalmyks by the Russians. The independence of Kalmykia is an absolutely ridiculous idea, and as a person living in the neighboring region, I know that there are no strong separatist ideas there.

Thanks for your comment! Civil rights usually refer to individual rights. A right to seeded, when granted, is usually applied to a secondary political unit (like a state). If you mean giving individual people a civil right to secede, I'm not sure how that would work in practice.

Nearly everyone realizes that if Iraqi Kurdistan declared independence, Erdogan would invade within 72 hours. Therefore, it operates as a state within a state. In addition, my best wishes to all those from Somaliland who have checked in here. I'm an American who has long supported your recognition. Intriguingly, in the highly controversial Project 2025 document there is a call for the U.S. to recognize Somaliland (albeit for bizarre reasons).

I didn't know that about Project 2025! Crikey! I know the Somaliland recognition issue has been backed by some conservative elements in DC, although there are sympathisers on both sides of the aisle. In the UK support is spread pretty evenly across the major parties. Gavin William is a prominent Tory supporter, but it's an issue many Labour politicians support as well (not least because of Labour voting Somalilanders in some constituencies).

You may be aware of the activities associated with the Khalistan movement, which poses an active threat to the peace and stability of India. Individuals involved in unlawful actions have been prosecuted in accordance with the laws of the land. Regarding the allegations of Indian involvement in certain killings, no evidence has been presented, either publicly or privately, to substantiate these claims. We believe it's important to address these matters with care and sensitivity.
@FredoRockwell
@FredoRockwell 8 дней назад
Hiya, there's been reporting in highly credible media sources of unlawful attempts by agents under order of the Indian government to kill people on US soil extrajudicially. That is not just criminal but a violation of international law. I doubt Modhi and his alleged accomplices will be forced to respond to these allegations, but it's still inexcusable.
@chandrasekarsn8266
@chandrasekarsn8266 8 дней назад
Hi @FredoRockwell, thank you for sharing your insights, which are based on "highly credible" media sources. It's important to recognize, however, that misinformation and false narratives have surfaced frequently in the past, as history has shown. While it's undeniable that the killing of any individual, regardless of who is involved, is wrong-no one is above the law-it's equally essential to allow the legal process to unfold properly. Media-driven persecution or the spread of misinformation can be damaging to society, often fostering hate. Until the appropriate authorities present their findings and conclusions publicly, there will always be uncertainty.This is just to say, let us not be dragged into the story or narrative-building of others. As responsible citizens and human beings, it is our duty to support a civilized and peaceful society.

You're not wrong about the Quebec office in London, however.... Strengthening cultural and economic ties are essential parts of the work of embassies as well. This focus doesn't differentiate the Quebec "embassies" in any way. Also, yes, other Canadian provinces have similar offices in different international capitals, but these are normally hosted inside the Canadian embassy. Quebec has its own buildings in prominent locations with flags flying outside. These are clearly intended to be seen and to look like an embassy. 🙂

The World passport speech is extremely misleading to the point where it might be considered a scam. He says "almost every country has stamped a world passport", which implies that they accept it as a valid document, but that's not true at all. There isn't a single country that recognises it as a valid identity or travel document, and the few cases where they were stamped was via a special request by people who had other passports or applying as stateless. It was either "please stamp this instead of or along my real passport" or "I am stateless and applying as a refugee, I also want a stamp on this piece of paper". The world passport did not give any advantage or help or recognition that's any different from being stateless
@FredoRockwell
@FredoRockwell 10 дней назад
It's the official advice of the WSA to get a visa for the county you wish to enter with your world passport before arriving at the border. This does happen, and I think the examples I show in the video are of stamped visas. In other words, both a consular official and a border official have decided to accept the passport as a valid travel document. Whether or not the World Passport is accepted is usually down to the discretion of the official that it is presented to. I think saying this makes it close to a scam is overstating things, though. The WSA doesn't claim that the World Passport is universally and unquestionably accepted. Lots of people are happy to have one nevertheless, however, and there are other uses for passports other than crossing borders. One more thing - even with a passport which is legally recognised, entry into a country is still in most cases down to the discretion of the border official. 🙂
@potato_nugget
@potato_nugget 10 дней назад
@@FredoRockwell Yes, they need a visa beforehand, and they apply for a visa using their actual citizenship, or they apply as a stateless refugee, but nobody is applying for a visa as a world citizen passport holder. In fact, showing up with the passport actually makes it HARDER and will cause more trouble for you than showing up without a passport at all (assuming you already have a visa)
@FredoRockwell
@FredoRockwell 10 дней назад
@potato_nugget There is plenty of evidence that visas have been obtained and used in World Passports. There are dozens of photos showing this on the WSA website. If you're saying these were only granted because the person applying had another passport and the official put the visa in the wrong passport, or agreed to put the visa in a passport they considered invalid because of the other passport, what is your evidence? The most likely explanation is that some officials, either knowingly or by accident, choose to recognise the World Passport as valid.
@potato_nugget
@potato_nugget 10 дней назад
@@FredoRockwell I never said it was an accident or mistake, I said that it was done in addition to or in place of their real passport, or a replacement for giving a stateless person a piece of paper. So it's a case of "I am a stateless refugee and I want my visa stamped on this paper" or "I am a citizen of country X, but I want my entry stamp on this" it's more of a special request done for fun or them not seeing a problem with the request (you can also request not to have a stamp at all). What is true however, is the fact that nobody has ever applied for a visa as a World citizen or WSA passport holder, they applied using their real citizenship or as stateless. No country recognises the WSA as a legitimate organisation This is covered extensively in the Wikipedia page about the passport, and also in every single article about it that's not their website or made by them
@FredoRockwell
@FredoRockwell 10 дней назад
@potato_nugget can you cite one of these articles? I'm not sure how such an absolute statement could be proven. I've looked through the Wikipedia page just now and not seen anything to say it has only been used in conjunction with another passport.

The privy council of the United Kingdom and canada is a way that the globalist elite are able to control the entire global western hemisphere through corruption Freemasonry and absolute power, this is enacted through free masonry knighthoods and such awards that were given by the king to those who honour his wishes and protect his globalist interests, voting as a scam that is given to the people in order to make them believe that there is a system of democracy but there is none. The privy council is a corrupt establishment hub where instead of pledging your allegiance to the country you pledge your allegiance to the monarch.

For the Khalistan, I will suggest you to expand your knowledge because they are nothing more than a separatist/terrorist organization. Its supporters have assassinated a sitting PM of India while being her "bodyguard" to taking out an aircraft full of civilians with explosives. And before someone comes out with Operation Blue Star, yes it was wrong, yes our government could have taken better steps in order to protect our innocent sikh brothers and sisters but this political show that is going on in the name of independence is nothing but just mediocrity. And we had the best PM Dr. Manmohan Singh, who you guessed it, is a Sikh. If they were still "persecuted" to this day, why was he our PM? We had President and PM from the Sikh religion and while you can't control mob just like in the west with far right nut jobs same goes with Indian mob too. If they are so much being deprived of their rights, then how did one of them got elected to a representative democracy? So, I will ask you to kindly do research on them and if they get back please make a better informative video with them where they answer you.

@FredoRockwell 10 дней назад
I'm not sure from your comment if you're aware of this, but there are hundreds of Native American tribes which signed treaties with the US Federal government, many of which were repeatedly violated by the US Federal government many decades before the Civil War Yes, some tribal governments did side with the Confederacy, but this decision was in the context of repeated mistreatment by the US. Whether or not you think the Lakota deserve their own country, there's no denying that Native American peoples have historically been persecuted and many are victims of what today would be considered genocide.
@zacharym167
@zacharym167 10 дней назад
@@FredoRockwell so yes we did violated probably hundreds of treaties before the civil war but so have they now to what extent I’m not sure because hey they don’t exactly teach you that in school because it not politicly correct and its just hard to find for that exact reason to. but anyway I don’t think you know by the point of the civil war all states have had started to force the native Americans into society and the once that didn’t was forced to leave for Oklahoma and we gave them resources along there journey and when they got there to make a decent recovery. Plus if you also amendment they sided with the confederates then you also have to amendment they broke the treaty they had for 100 of years that was working well and in-fact made them prosper into a nation that could have formed into a country later on if they just stayed as good boy but no so yes with that fact alone they don’t deserve any form of a country because they squatted there first chance in a big way. siding with slavery. We did not seek them out in any way that can be related to a genocide it was more like we mistreated them with the fact that the vast amount of our conflicts was over land,resources and consent raids so no I don’t think we did any less of a immoral act that they also done.

@zacharym167 I grew up in Georgia. About 150 years before I was born that area was owned and occupied by the Cherokee Nation. The Federal and Georgia state governments conspired to nullify Cherokee land claims and expel them from the state. This was a shameful act which meets the definition on genocide. Saying that the crimes committed against individuals are justified because their great-grandchildren have managed to recover is not a valid argument. It's pretty gross to be honest.
@zacharym167
@zacharym167 10 дней назад
@@FredoRockwell so first off I never said it the actions we did was justified I am saying that both sides have done terrible things and we have tide to repay them by giving them land and the possibility of forming a country like Puerto Rico later on but moments before the civil war they broke that chance and so i see no reason why we still think we should repay them back anymore especially now after giving them back even more land in states and getting special treatment on top of it

@zacharym167 10 дней назад
@@FredoRockwell also what you just described is a violation of a treaty. I think it’s a bit silly to lump in Quebec, Wales, Greenland etc with “unrecognized countries” - the US recognizes those places, they just aren’t (nor do they claim, or for the most part desire to be) independent sovereign states. That isn’t like Tibet etc which are active independence movements that are not recognized by their parent governments or the US.

All of the offices I visited in this video (and the two previous videos in this series) function as embassies to some extent, but without being officially recognised as embassies.
