Hi 👋 I wonder if I could have a quiet sleep in the night (entertainment noise) and in the morning (workers chatting and carelessly making noise). Is there a culture of care or not so much?
I’ve always enjoyed peaceful nights sleep 🛌 at the resort - my only advice is to avoid rooms close to the delivery bays at the beach end restaurants - they often deliver supplies overnight
The bicycles 🚴 are unfortunately on haitus while a new service provider is being evaluated - no clarity yet as to when the popular activity will resume
I’m so happy i fund your videos in June. We are now at the Melia Wellness Punta Cana, and enjoying everything here. It’s perfect! Thanks for sharing those videos, i would never fund this without it. Relax, food is AMAZING, the beach and the pool are perfect. People are so friendly and smiling all the time. Exceptionnal service Hope to see you here one day and take a drink!
Thanks for posting, due to visit end of August for my honeymoon and I have a really irrational fear of sharks……really odd as I live in the UK and I’m more used to seeing wind turbines than sharks 🤦🏼♂️😂
Have stayed in Punta Cana at the Costa Hermosa. Maria and her staff were very helpful in recommending this location as it was one of their many short term rental vacation properties. They also come highly recommended for real estate purchases.
Great video! Very reliable rental company in the Punta Cana area. I have rented from them in the past and their service level was excellent. I arrived at my rental at midnight with the taxi company they recommended and I was met by one of their personal staff to get me situated into my room. Awesome Experience!
I'll be in Vista Sol at the end of August, that was nice to see you're literally on the same street here lol, have you had Bella Napoli over there? Its about a 10 minute walk on the same street as the resort
Several local developments have experienced issues after Katmandu closed and the government crackdown on Haitian immigrants - many of whom worked on construction projects
Thanks for the great videos. I am from Canada and thinking of buying a villa in Punta Cana to live as an expat. My question is: are there some road cycling trails around the area. We are bike lovers and this is a must for us. Best regards 🙂
Not to my knowledge. The public infrastructure in Punta Cana is next to non-existent. Roads and sidewalks are very narrow and in very bad shape. We love cycling, but I would never attempt it on the public roads of the DR. Their road fatality rate is amongst the highest in the world, and most victims are on some type of scooter, moped, motorcycle, and yes, bicycles. Very very dangerous.
New subscriber, really enjoy your videos. Thinking of booking for two weeks in late January. Our biggest priority is beach or pool shade. If we upgrade to The Level, would we have a better chance of getting shade if we arrive early in the morning?
Regardless of whether you book the Level or not, you will not have any problem finding a shady spot on the beach in January - 🏖️- there are so many palapas and trees, we’ve never had any issues. The pool can be challenging in February and March in terms of chair availability, but January is not as busy so you should be fine - but the Level does increase your selection of chair real estate by 33% or so and they are nicer, padded lounge chairs. The big bonus with the Level is the Quimera restaurant - such good food and service! Hope you have an amazing stay!
That varies depending on how you book, who you book with, and whether you upgrade upon arrival. The fee fluctuates based on several factors, principally hotel occupancy.
I rented a unit there not long ago the community as we speak 7/5/2024 is getting a boost / upgrade - pool area - would love to see an update on this community- I’m sure prices will go up -- love it 😍
Good morning André, how are you. lol , i was looking for a week vacation in punta cana and i found all your video. Love the ways you present and all the details...and i watch all your videos about the Miléa resort. thank you so much. If you don't mind, i have fews questions : Deluxe room , premium room beachside, junior suite room, roulette room AREN'T like the Level right? The Level have more benefits right, André? The level suite beach side, the level suite beach side by STAY WELL, The level garden suite by STAY WELL. So, the level suite beach side and the level suite beach side by STAY WELL are they the same? Seem little bit confusing...thanks André.
In terms of dimensions, all the rooms are the same size, with the exception of very few suites that feature a separate living room and bedroom. Otherwise, the only difference is hat the Level rooms are better appointed in terms of furnishings and amenities. I stay for two months in a non-level room and am perfectly happy with how it. BUT I do upgrade my bracelet to the Level for access to Quimera which is non-negotiable for me because the food at that facility is the best on the resort.
ohh. sorry , i forgot, as for the taxi, do you recommend that we reserve a taxi before getting at the airport or just take any taxi when we get there..thanks André
@@PuntaCanaTravelVideos Hello André, we really appreciate all the infos and all your videos. And the time you took to answers to all our questions. THANKS
@@PuntaCanaTravelVideos I was trying to find a place I could afford for going to Punta Cana next feb for the entire month. It was one of those that had the best price but still high.
Hi Andre, what brand of vodka is at the Level section. Is it premium Chopin, Belvedere, Grey Goose or standard Stoli, Absolut, Tito’s. All are fine just curious. Keep up the great videos.
The top shelf vodka on offer at The Level is Grey Goose, Absolut and Stoli. I did see others I did not recognize. I would not recommend the house vodka.
Dolce is my favourite - for Diner and a show the Los Corales location - for a more upscale dinner experience, their location down the road at the Palma Real mall
@@PuntaCanaTravelVideos Thank you for the great videos. I didn't know half these bars were there. That rooftop bar looks amazing and its an 8 minute walk from my Airbnb.
In June, the weather in the Dominican Republic is generally warm and tropical. It is the beginning of the rainy season, so there can be occasional showers and thunderstorms. However, these usually don't last for long and the sun often comes out soon after.
Hi Andre you mentioned in one of your videos that you didn"t recommend using a credit card just wondering the reason and does that go for the bigger shops as well?
Thank you so much for this splendid video. We are coming in the summer, our first time and this clarifies we have definitely booked the right place , thank you 🙏
Just wondering why not to use your credit card in the DR? Does that go as well for the bigger shops? Just to let you know i love your videos very informing, i will be leaving for there on Friday and always follow you for tips, looking forward to our trip, how has the weather been, i see there is some rain in the forecast in the 14 day forecast, hopfully not too much 🌞😎🏖Thanks
