I looked into these for a design I am working on, a Nema 8 size external actuator was 5x more than buying a nema 8 motor and leadscrew separately. That and the 6-8 week lead-time made it impossible to base the design on them which is a shame as they are a neater solution which avoid the need for a coupling.
