Usually with any plant of you look at the bottom and the roots are escaping, theen theres a good chance the bottom of the pot inside os crushed together woth roots. At that point its best to repot, into either a taller or slightly wider pot
Yes i have tips! I went to Europe for 2 weeks last year! Water DEEPLY the day you leave, or the night before. The last plant, ZZ Plant, will be fine, not a concern. YES WORRY ABOUT YOUR FLF!! Either get water globes or make a water wicking device. (Videos on YT.) But quick explanation: fill big container with water, add cotton string in container, bury other wnd of string in a plant. Can do several strings coming out of the bucket You are correct that thr snake plants will not give a single F that you have gone. 😂

what do you use to trim wicks? also, looking forward to your candle reviews! I used to like l'artisan parfumeur candles but the throw has been disappointing lately. I've tried various other low to mid-end candles but haven't found anything I'd repurchase.
Hi, I'm just seeing this comment. Sorry for not responding sooner. I use scissors to trim the wicks but I do think I should get better wick trimmer. Like you, I am noticing that many wicks on these candles are just not good quality wicks! I did have a conversation years ago with a handmade candle maker, who made a special trip to South America to get her wicks. She said wick quality is what distinguishes a good candle from a great candle. I am hoping to interview her on my podcast The Honest Field Guide so I can learn more about wicks because I agree with you--There's something happening with some of the wicks and some of these candles.
