i got Missing sensor(s): Prs0 service and reboot every 3 min after about 12hrs from an event of water contact of the iphone xs under tap . Also the faceid got disabled. I'm surprised how such a little bit of gently tap water made such serious damages. Does the charging port actually needs to be replaced because of permanent damage or there's maybe just some corrosion or dirt? Maybe with isopropyl alcool i could clean it, if only i could narrow to some part the cleaning. Opened the phone and i can't see any evidence of water ingress. Can the charging port be cleaned? What you think?
This has got to be the worst batch of XS's ever. I had so much issues with these and indeed, narrowing it down is exactly the thermalmonitord timeout (3 minute reboot) and refuses to charge. I lost data because of it and i _hate_ apple at this point. The screens on release where defective. The hardware can't take anything and it's bricked already. Sigh.

Prs0 and my phone goes off and on every 3 minutes and the phone only charges when it's on. So the charging port will be defective for me, right?
Hello, i've used a battery programmer on a 12 pro max battery and now it gives an error in panic logs " missing sensors prs0 /nservice:backboard" and the phone reboots every 3 minutes i removed the flex that was coded for the battery but the issue persists... what can the problem be ?
PRS0 is the data lines from the board to the battery also known as gas gauge, you should first check the reading on the board side in diode mode on the data lines pins for the battery and if you get the right reading (usually around 0.700 if i remember right) then you should check for voltage on the data lines on the battery, it’s usually around 1-2 volts whatever’s missing will be your problem, sorry I can’t explain the whole diagnostics process but this should give you a good pointer.
@@BitRepairs a gsm service checked the conectors visualy and said it's the motherboard, from your experience in this case can it be the motherboard or most of the time it s the charging port ?
thank you for your Video i have iphone 12 minni it reboots and i get missing tp3r sensor. Do you have any ideo for this Problem. Thank you very much for answering
Hi, sorry this isn't just a parts replacement, its likely to be related to board split, you would have to split the boards and check for torn pads between the layers, this sensor is on the bottom side of the two boards.
@@BitRepairs ok thank for answering i found NTC_RADIO_PA_P 422mv but it must be 780mv diode readings. this lines are directly go to power ic. Is it possible to replace power ic without become problem with cpu? Thank you very much for answering. i think in my case power ic is demage becouse the line goes directly to power ic
Hi mate , good job, i am in uk too , im just wondering how you got your ZXW UP mine keeps getting blocked as blacklister by my PC's security , any advice would be a great help, cheers
Hi mate, I’ve got a pc I dedicate to just the schematics, it’s got all security disabled, doesn’t matter though because it’s literally only used to show me schematics. Your best bet is to disable it just for the folder it resides in. Good luck
The battery is soldered in as it’s a recharging battery there is a charger spot in the car. you just lay your key on and it wireless charges also love this Channel you are a soldier legend haha I personally would like to see my iPad repairs 😁
This man is a genius and a true master of the field. I’m having the exact symptoms after water got in the port and I kept trying to charge it…. Reboots every 3 mins and sluggish asf
It worked for me was dreading the big fix but worked with some rolled up cut electrical tape for me done it about 10 mins ago working fine so far fingers crossed if it fails I will let you know
Also at around 14:50, keep on blabbering. You were talking about really good info that many other people never include in their videos. Like why do i use what i use? etc
Hi, Wayne very good video mate, am getting this problem on my xs iphone, got a new battery in it first because was on 78% but it did not fix it, then i seen your video and the prsO sensor code is which i have got so can you tell me where i can get a good reliable charging port from and i can order one please cheers, also can you tell me if my battery health will come back as normal got a warning saying its not a genuine i have been told that it will be back to normal after about 14 days, it will put it self right if you can let me no if thats right please (many thanks)
Absolute Genius Wayne .. Haters / Purist are always going to hate but personally I think this is the SAFEST and Quickest method i've ever seen on the Interweb :-) Beats the HOOK & Drop Method HandsDown !!!!!
Thanks, you’ll always get the haters, it’s just a “RU-vid” thing. What matters is the realists like yourself! What I know though is I’ve successfully fixed tens of thousands of these phones using this method and they never come back to me, I even give a warranty to prove it, and the biggest thing I always say is there is 0% risk to baseband. I’m perfectly capable of doing it the other way, I might even do a video to prove it, but why spend 30 minutes on a repair when 6 minutes gives you the same outcome 😁
Thanks for watching everyone and apologies it’s taken so long to share. I had to keep it secret because it’s been earning me good money for a long time.
Either board was overheated, possibly wifi chip not on right or one of the bits on the opposite side of the board that is underfilled has shorted or come loose, possibly on the i2c line or maybe a component has been nudged off the board, the list really is endless, just work through it methodically until you find the fault.
My chubby hands tried to repair a phone, and this happened to me, sent it to these guys and he fixed it without a problem, even found other things I’d messed up. Really got me out of a hotspot! Really can’t help you enough. If anyone has this or any other issue. Honestly go onto their website. 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks for the review James, it was a pleasure to work on your phone, 2 nice new mosfets, couple of filters, 2 jumper wires and some solder mask and it was back to working.
Most of the equipment is, just needed a new microscope to do simul-focal for RU-vid videos, I’ve literally ordered the new microscope yesterday so I’ll be doing some more videos soon... and I’ll be able to see what I’m doing while I’m running the video! Thanks for the comment.
Yep, you’ll need to remove the nand chip from the board, unbind WiFi with a programmer then refit nand, then fit the new WiFi chip. It’s often not the chip faulty though, it just needs reballing.
