As the Italian writer Umberto Eco said, 'history tells small truths that can be altered so that the bigger truth emerges' ...
you missed the one from the SPL. there was some mad stat attached to it like he scored first and last goals of that season but I remember he went along the 18 yard box past about 5 players and scored
Yeah he looks no bad, apart from Celtic in the relatively poor spl,hes played for lower league teams....some of those goals Vs real Madrid,Liverpool and man city are outstanding 😂😂😂
Strahan didn't want paddy... Fair enough ... But Lennon shoulda broke his own back Trying to get Paddy in about it....they didn't even try ... Shame on Lennon
Celtic never gave the Boy the chance....wasted his time at parkhead... First time seeing this... I haven't watched 3 minutes yet.... In fact I don't like to say that about celtic... But they did... I can say that definetly after watching only not even 3 minutes of.this video... A different time wee man & who knows... I'm sitting open mouthed & just smh
He had stamina issues. A friend of mine was a senior coach and said he was lapped by all other players in training and his stamina level never seen him last a full game. Great talent though
Excellent video Paddy was an exceptional talent pleasure to have seen him at Celtic, wish we had got him at 18 this lad with the right guidance would have reached the very top #tekkers
@@occultcalciohe appealed it after he was found guilty , and the girls parents didn’t want to put their daughter through another appeals trial where they would have to present the evidence all over again … so maybe you should do a bit more digging
The Irish Michael Laudrup Had he the stamina and athleticism of Scott Brown he would have been worth £50m no danger. Just look at his balance and close control the ball is seldom more than a foot from either boot and always touched with just the right weight . As for his passing well in all the time he was at Celtic I could count on one hand I seen him fail to pass it to the intended target. That’s why I drew the Laudrup comparison because I see a lot of Michael in Paddy’s play and the way he he moves almost effortlessly past players just a wee hip movement shifting it from boot to boot to put the defender off balance and he’s past already lining up the next. You can’t teach that it’s god given natural ability only a very few in a generation possess. Such a shame he was held back by poor stamina and general fitness.
I see you're a man of cultured taste, I still rate him above KDB for example, he played with more advanced angles and dominated any part of the field with his mobility, I really need to get back to collating his material as there's nothing of note online
@@occultcalcio He had some really nice moments in Mexico 86. Being only 20 years old, ending up in the semifinal against Diego & Co. Scored a beautiful goal in Italy 90 against Uruguay. And had a very nice career in Auxerre and Torino. Reached the UEFA Cup Final 1992 and won the Italian Cup in 1993.
Za vreme kako je dugo nosio dres reprezentacije, malo je dao! Šta vrede hettrik golovi u prijateljskim utakmicama, kad je u bitnim mečevi a zakazao, te mučio loptu i nas gledaoce, svojim neprecizni dodavanjima i propuštenim šansama! Baš pravi papak, bosanski!
Poor old Paddy wasn't built to last but he showed flashes of genius here and there a true natural talent in a very slender body. I think he needed a man like Alex Ferguson to guide him and build him into an unbreakable tank, I wonder if Sir Alex ever looked at him because his scouts were always active in Ireland.
According to my uncle who had a season ticket at Old Trafford, Fergie did want him but saw him with a joint or some shite lol. Ferguson was too intolerant and missed out on some genius players, treated Mc Grath badly as well
@@mazooka Paddy was very slight, and not to bright going on past interviews of him. And if he was caught smoking a joint, then that would have been typical behaviour of an Irish lad back in the 90s.Paddy could have succeeded if he had better quality players around him to carry the work load. He didn't have great endurance and would often find himself subbed early or not starting games due to this. I could see him on the left wing at MU given the same role as Giggs as his skill was better than Ryan's in my opinion. The only difference is that Ryan Giggs could run all day. Now I'd say that Paddy liked a point or two and maybe that affected his performances in training and match days. He comes across as a low energy person who lacks discipline with a carefree attitude a bit like a hippy. Well Fergie was very strict but he knew that just one bad apple could allow the rot to set in to destroy a team of players. Overall, I'd say Fergies judgement over the years was very good.
There’s some truth to your statement if we were to look at the basic numbers. However not many players who have been fortunate enough to participated at World Cups, have created as many chances as Susic did inside only three group stage matches. Keep in mind throughout the rest of his career he was a consistently on the scoresheet, scoring hattricks against World champions Argentina and Romania respectively, however I like to view the nuances of the sport not the black and white outcomes. Anyways, thank you for watching, hope you found something worthwhile
Kazu neki, Messi je prvi koji je pokazao kratke driblinge u punoj brzini. Onda nisu nikad gledali Papeta. Najjaci igrac bivse Jugoslavije, uz veliko postovanje prema Dzajicu i mnogim drugim velikanima.
