Even tho Optimus kill a human was not in character, let's remide that he promised that if he finds out who was responseble for the Death of his friends,he would kill him,and that's him keeping his promise.
Whoever Wrote that Optimus Prime is Serving a Life Sentence Ought to Have Their Butt Kicked!! Without Optimus Prime to Lead the Autobots, The Decepticons will Conquer Earth, Along with the Entire Universe
At this point Attinger had lost his mind (after all, he indifferently permitted Lockdown to turn entire Hong Kong upside down, killing from hundreds to thousands of innocent people, just to prevent Yeager family from exposing his crimes) and is even more hypocritically delusional with his accusations of Cade choosing Autobots over humans while he himself proved to be too dangerous to both Cybertronians and humabs to be left alive. Optimus did a huge favor for both races.
Before you guys comment let me ask you this Would you rather have an episode character who’s arc has concluded Or a an episode where it backtracks the arc
Backtracks his arc?! Bruh, you can have Edward starring episodes that don’t backtrack his arc. That’s like if they hardly used Henry after season 1 all because it would “backtrack his arc” like that’s an asinine argument.
@@Woodenrailwayoliver20 well if you look at all Edward appearances, it slows down after season 2, after the classic era into the hit era Edward is written wrong, making him a worried character
@@Peytoniscool758 I do understand the struggle for writing for Edward since he very rarely makes mistakes which makes him harder to write for then say Gordon and Henry which is part of the reason why Edward was unfortunately not as prominent as Gordon, Henry, James, Thomas, and Percy. HOWEVER, there is a very easy way around that writing struggle for Edward and the solution is simple. Just have episodes that explore Edward’s dynamic with Thomas, Percy, Henry, and Emily or have episodes where Diesel, Arry, Bert, Bowler, and Spencer (characters that never grow or change) be rude to Edward and cause him conflict, or have episodes where Edward helps a character solve a problem, or episodes where Edward has to solve a mystery (like that Edward finds a phantom story for example) or episodes where Edward tells stories to the other engines of when he was a young express engine on the Furness railway. I’m literally spitballing all of these ideas and the show never utilized them and that genuinely frustrates me.
Don’t get me wrong, I love season 5 and it’s definitely one of my favorite seasons in the classic series. But my biggest problem with season 5 is how underutilized Edward is in that season. Even as a kid I always felt sad that Edward didn’t have any starring episodes in season 5 since he was always one of my favorite characters. I genuinely believe that the episodes Thomas, Percy And Old Slow Coach and Happy Ever After should’ve instead have been called Edward, Percy And Old Slow Coach and Edward’s Good Luck Package and have those 2 episodes be Edward’s starring episodes of season 5. Thomas also would’ve been swapped out with Percy in Edward’s Good Luck Package due to Percy’s connection to Old Slow Coach in Old Slow Coach’s debut episode in both this timeline and the alternate timeline where Percy’s female. I do firmly believe that if Percy was female instead of male (but still have her be named Percy and have her look and sound identical to her male counterpart in every single way) then all of what I just said would’ve been the case since Edward would’ve been the 5th boy instead of 6th. Edward, Percy, And Old Slow Coach and Edward’s Good Luck Package would’ve been perfect starring episodes for Edward in season 5 and characters are often seen on each other’s branch line in the classic series and also shuffle around at Tidmouth Sheds all the time. Edward was even seen at Elsbridge in Percy’s Promise in season 3 so it could’ve been established that Thomas, Percy, and Edward take supplies to each other’s branch lines every few weeks thus explaining why Edward would’ve been taking some trucks to the quarry on Thomas’ branch line in Edward’s Good Luck Package. Season 5 would’ve had even greater character variety if all of this was the case.
But I think that was the point, Seasons 3-5 had Edward as a supporting character because his great story ended in Season 2 with Exploit, so you don’t have to force him into the leads of episodes.
@@ryanfuller912 it would not be forced, it would’ve felt natural. Henry’s arc ended in season 1 and yet they still did a lot of him, so they could’ve done the same for Edward.
@@ryanfuller912 Edward was a main character in seasons 1-7 and was more prominent than Toby and Duck since Edward had 12 starring episodes while Toby had 11 and Duck had 10. I love unlucky tug, but I one thousand percent disagree with him when he said that Edward was a “supporting character” in seasons 3, 4, and 5. Just because a main character doesn’t have a starring episode in a season, that doesn’t mean that they’re no longer a main character. For example, Henry and Toby didn’t have any starring episodes in season 2 and they were still main characters after that season, Edward and James didn’t have any starring episodes in season 4 and they were still main characters after that season. Edward didn’t have any starring episodes in season 5 (unfortunately) and he was still a main character after that. But you get my point. Edward was a main character in seasons 3-5, not a secondary character.
While Edward is my fourth favorite character, I honestly prefer him being a supporting character like I'm glad they did in S3-5 cause if he was given too many episodes that would give him some flaws, that'll make him out of character - just like what the HiT era did with him (and a reason why they wrote him off the main cast in A Shed for Edward cause he also slightly suffered a bit from a few CGI episodes). A fun piece of trivia was that he WAS originally going to be featured in Cranky Bugs during the tramp steamer scene (according to Robert Gallier's storyboards), but at the last minute he was replaced with Duck. Works well in both ways, but would've been cool to see all four tender engines (as well as the first six main characters together in the premiere S5 episode).
@@CassiusSharp dude he kills lockdown who is partly responsible, he didn't have to kill attinger, just shoot the ground causing attinger to go flying, he won't die but will be stunned and cade can end him from there.
Buddy he didn't have to kill him, let's not act like optimus and ratchet weren't shooting at the ground at cemetery wind soldiers causing them to go flying but not killing them. He could of done the same here and let cade kill the only other human villain.
