The really astonishing thing about this young man is: he was depressed, suicidal, bullied, and very fragile emotionally. Yet he worked through it, healed, and always knew that his music could be a bridge to a happier life. I admire so many things about him besides that amazing voice: his courage, his candor, his generosity, his humor. One day he will step onto the stage of the NY Metropolitan Opera. I for one cannot wait. He's going to deserve every accolade and rave he will, no doubt receive...
Wonderful interview! I like the way you've drawn Jonathan out. I've been a fan for years, but there is new information here. Thank you for this wonderful interview that gives the world a glimpse of the depth and compassion of this incredible young man. His openness and honesty both in his perfomance of every song he sings and his responses when interviewed show a wisedom and maturity far beyond his age. He truly understands what is important in life and genuinely wants to make the world a better place for ALL peoples. That he has been gifted with such a beautiful voice and choses to share it with us from a place of love is the icing on the cake! ♥♥

Jonathan Antoines heart and soul is so gentle and kind ,he is so smart, yes education and try to imagine to walk in someone elses shoes, thats the key words Although he doesnt know it he has helped my Grandson ,although he doesnt listen to Jonathans music, thru his inspirational story and how he succeeded in life.

I totally remember Life On Venus Ave. I also remember "Mush Music" before that. As a huge Madonna fan, I would always watch Ziggy's show because I knew at the end I'd see a Madonna video. I used to record on VHS all Madonna's videos and although there were some Ziggy played more than often, there were a few she didn't play (or often). I remember writing a letter to Mush Music as a request for "Live To Tell". i don't think I had ever saw it on her show. The following week, it was played... and recorded :) I still have it somewhere lol. Must be over 25 years ago now.
