That wraps up another great trip! Some other must do's if you are in the area are Rosario beach and bowman bay. If you have a favorite spot in the area let us know!
Hello everyone and thank you for watching! Hope you enjoyed the video. Possible future add ons to this system will be shore power, and possibly bigger solar panels but that will take adding a custom roof rack system... Also, curious to hear from anyone else who's set up a DIY solar system in their van! Share your tips and experiences in the comments below!
Hey everyone, thanks so much for checking out the video! It was great sharing my water system setup with you - hopefully it inspires some van builds or helps with any tweaks you're making. Let me know if you have any questions!
nicely done! i did something similar with a amazon aluminum box on my van a few years back. it's held up well so far, 3 trips from nova scotia to baja and back again.
Congratulations on your successful cargo box project! It's great hearing about successful vanlife diys. And Nova Scotia to Baja? That's quite the adventure!

Hey man you should do a video on how to lift a Dodge Van even if it's a simple spacer lift and a slightly bigger tire. The Dodge Fans would love that! I made a video titled "Lifted 2wd Dodge Ram Van | Mystery lift Kit | A video for Dodge Van fans | People not sharing" Check out the comments and view count. I think that would help your channel out a lot. I know I would love to see it since I love Old School American Vans and I love seeing people rep the Dodges. They look so good when they are built out as Adventure rigs. Keep up the great work repping the RAm Van!
Thanks for checking it out! Lots of big plans in the works for the Adventure rig! Will likely be going the Trutrac route for the next "big" upgrade to give it some more off road capability. You are right a lift of some sort would finish it off nicely, may just have to add that to the list!
@@RidgestoRapids All of us have 2wd here. Some open diff, I have a OX locker and the guy ripping the sand dunes is just running a LSD ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tWZWVUgEF3Q.html
If you need something and it doesn't exist design your own! Thank you for watching please remember to subscribe for more campervan adventures and modifications!
I just picked up a 2000 B2500....but not a cool van like yours. The little 127" wheel base. It was cheap, and I want to stay in the true spirit of Van Life --- not the ridiculous stuff all over RU-vid now with "cheap $40,000 upgrades". I'll never find swivels on fakebook marketplace.... I'm hunting for something cheap. Maybe Marine swivels.
Sounds like the start of a fun project! The great part of these vans is MOST things are pretty cheap for them especially when it comes to repairs if your good with a wrench. Definitely keep your eye on marketplace/offer up/CL etc deals do come along. I went with the cheapest swivel I could find in Amazon and it was about $150, definitely cheaper then the $500 ones out there! Good luck with the build!
Hey everyone thanks for watching this is a huge project for us to get checked off! If you're going to take on a project like this feel free to ask questions!
Glad you enjoyed! We have put a lot of hours into the van so far with some more big upgrades right around the corner! Thank you for watching! Will do on the panning =)
Thanks for watching, it was a great trip! I'm guilty in some of my videos with the music but you are right, there is something about the sound of the river!
@@skull465 That's awesome! The recon will do great. We had one Recon on the trip and it was his first time in a packraft. He sailed though Mule Creek and blossom with no issues! Have a great Trip!
Ask and you shall receive! ridgestorapids.com/pack-lists As noted on my page that's my "road side" load out, the creature comforts would be sacrificed during a hike in float!
@@stevegourley Itd be tight with that set up. The alpacka bags are huge but some of the items are awkward, especially the camp gear. Having 4 allows me to sort things better and not have to dig around for items in overstuffed bags.
