Hello sir, thank you for your very valuable videos. I, like you, bought MAKITA dun500W hedge trimmer, and wanted to ask: After yours adjustable head screw was tightened - how long did it take when it collapsed again?
Your Hondas look very different than ours in the states. Honda quit making them last year here so you can only get them in Australia and Europe I believe . They used to make ours in North Carolina. We will never have them again . All the blame falls on liberals in California . Lawsuits over safety and emissions. In the states we all hate California and New York for these things they do that affect the rest of us. I bought 2 HRX217HXAs new in the box still no plans to open for quite a while . Just bought and assembled a HRC216DPH . I may drive up to Canada from Florida where I found 5 HRCs for sale . The HRCs really are the best with the GX motor and the added shaft drive to their incredible hydrostatic transmission.
do you still like it mate? is there anything out there in 2024 that, if you could, you would have rather get or swap for? is this is best even today in your opinion?
@@andothemando9695 Thanks a lot mate, have you done any videos on the best bang for buck when it comes to marketing? I am only going to do lawns and edging so I can bang out the most lawns in a day possible. I really like your approach over most of the other guys on youtube Ive found
Raising revs lowers durability, as told to me by a Honda small engine engineer. Imagine that, garden cutters vs the advice of the some of the best small engine designers that perhaps ever existed. Don't be silly, leave your expensive mower as it was intended to be by the people you respect for making the legendary product you sought.
I enjoyed that Ando. As a (now retired) plumber, may I make a few observations. 1. My electrician always said 'the job would be great if it wasn't for the f*#@... customers'! You sound like you have good ones though. 2. If you're fully booked and can't easily absorb the days when you're rained off, charge a bit more and do a few less jobs to give you a bit of breathing space. With so much work, clearly people think you're worth it, so they'll happily pay a bit more for it. I would. 3. If YOU reckon someone's an idiot, they're an idiot! But I know what you mean about waking up in the morning and thinking 'thank goodness I didn't post that'. 4. We have an election coming up this year in the UK. Please will you be our new Prime Minister? 5. Finally, your video on the Makita cordless hedge trimmers just cost me £300. My wife's mental health is suffering as a result.... Thanks for such a great RU-vid channel. Please keep up the good work.
i have a scag 30" - i felt like i wanted a stander but they cost too much so i prefer to push teh 30" for the small gates. i agree, it doesnt save tons of time and dang they arent cheap!!!! 10k USD!
Hi There, Just a quick question regarding killing dandelions in buffalo Lawns....I've been using stadium for years but there don't die....wondering how you go about it... Regards BILL
I have the 36 Scag and your absolutely correct about the tires being too thin. I switched over to the tweels and that fixed my issue with ripping up the lawns.
Exactly agree with what you are saying about the strength of Glyphosate. What people have to realize also that if you hit the weeds with extra strength mix as in adding extra product to the mix hoping to get a quick kill, you may have the opposite effect...."Them weeds is smart". They know they are under attack so they shut down their growth system to prevent the attack. Just something to think about.
Great and honest review, I love my Toro time master , and you are right the weight of those mower can be an issue, especially if the ground is a little soft
You didn't drop 15 customers they didn't want it there or you couldn't get in .I'm buying the pro surfer I don't care about weight I'm 56 .sure definitely can only use when it's dry but I'm more into not burning out
Hey mate I have the same problem with mine and thinking of selling did you get what you wanted for it or did you have to take a bit of a hit when selling it thanks
yeah it’s great to get rid of the dumb landscapes like walls etc., unless the customer brings you in other money like clean ups snow Removal etc. etc., but I will never ever get rid of my tiny lawns where are use a 21 inch mower, those are the fastest and easiest. I’m in and out in a flash with less effort than a big ass backyard I need a 36 inch ride on
I have two 3.0 amp trimmers, they rock, but I want a 15 amp corded trimmer. I want the most brutal trimmer ever. I don't know what froofy bushes you're cutting, but I'm cutting briars and bramble and the most brutal jungle ever. If a snake is handing down to drop on me, I swoosh him in half through the air. I want something that can cut through a barb wire fence.
Good Information. I'm 49. I have 42 zturn and doesn't fit alot of yards I have. I'm solo 90% of the time in my business. I too would like to minimize my steps! Godspeed.
Thank you for the reviews. I just brought the DUH602 based on your recommendation. I'll have to check out the pole hedger in the future. Keep up the great videos.
yeah great review and yes battery all the way I have several shindy petrol collecting a lot of dust and totally agree with you about the battery..how quiet hey ! The blade speed on those is bloody awesome my Huskys run at 4000 so your s is a bit quicker , imagine the petrol ones they only run at 3000 so your on the money young fellow.
