I'm Clare of Harry Jon, a hair and makeup artist - Makeup for the past 12 years - Hair for the past 24 years
2 years ago, i started to branch out into the work of teaching and passing on all the skills i've learnt over the years. I like to help hair artists become the master of their craft - no fear. Even when your faces with a slippy fine updo!
I'm definitely known as an artist for being versatile, quirky and able to adapt to anything. I'm a problem solver. I make people feel good about themselves. I'm always thinking about client comfort. I'm always thinking of new ways to make it easier for you to learn.
I've an online training school and i aim to bring the best in online training, completely mentored every step of the way. Then there's single online classes, if you are just looking for a little help. AND now theres RU-vid for mini tutorials focusing on big problems to save you time, plus the other socials like Insta & Facebook
"Other people" on videos are saying you should ONLY go One Direction NOT up and down. They're saying going up and down is NOT good for the hair.. So very confusing🤔🤔
Well, if you think about it, it kind of doesn’t make sense. Backcombing your hair is bad for it to begin with. But if she’s back combing and then going the opposite direction well that’s the way you normally comb your hair so I don’t think it’s worse to go in both directions for that reason
You can use a tail comb, it will just take twice as long. She said that, so I am guessing you have to bring a comp down and up six times instead of three times. Just takes longer, but as good, I think.
