Welcome to the official RU-vid channel of Corning Optical Communications. Since ushering in the telecommunications revolution with the invention of low-loss optical fiber in 1970, Corning has been continually innovating to increase the speed and capacity of optical networks, while reducing installation costs. Today, we are delivering optical communications solutions for growing segments like fiber to the home, wireless technology, and hyper-scale data centers.

I have contractors consistently handling flex-nap incorrectly by plugging in dirty or incorrectly. It's incredibly difficult to find a video of someone from corning plugging in correctly and also cleaning female and male ends correctly with proper tools. I'd also like to see what can be done if the connectors are uncleanable or damaged in some way, what would be the fix.
I'm glad to see AT&T is using these in my neighborhood they started tearing out the old school car sized NPT's bought the middle of winter in my neighborhood and installing these things and running new fiber conduit everywhere finally got my service reconnected last week and it is way more stable I'm actually getting the speeds I pay for now.
This tool is horrible. I spent 7 hours today terminating fiber and got 3 done. I usually get the flashing amber light when I close the cover. There was no difference in connector loading between the connectors that I (think I) successfully terminated and those I couldn't get to that point with. This kit is absolute garbage! It was an absolute waste of $2700.
This tool sucks. I know damn well I have the connector seated properly but I usually get the flashing amber light when I close the cover. I spent 7 hours today trying to terminate fibers, but have 3 done. The tools said they were good, but I have my doubts given how this thing performs.

They don't allow you to say anything. The guy running around delivering notification to everyone said that many people told him they don't want it. He said too bad it's going in anyway! They are digging it in to the road side and up to your house. If you don't want to connect, they'll leave it coiled on your house! Rubbish
