I'm an honorably discharged Navy Veteran who served in the Desert Storm War. I was diagnosed with PTSD and other ailments from my military service. I almost died while serving in the Desert War. It took me a while to come out of my shell and begin to trust and feel comfortable being around people, doing things and traveling. I want to take others who suffer from PTSD on my journeys. I'm hoping that my channel, VET HAT TRAVELS & EATS, can help those who are like me get that extra boost of confidence to get out and see the world!
Hello and thanks for your comment. Yes, there are inside cabins in the Yacht Club experience. You get the exact same amenities and plus there are several families who do inside Yacht Club because of kids and or people who just want their privacy. I hope I was able to answer your questions.

Hennessy purposely does this. They sold it last fall in the liquor stores for a limited time. It’s basically a novelty and because it’s not sold in the states people mass buy it when they travel out of the states. It’s all marketing.
I have done both YC and Fantastica on the same MSC ships (Meraviligia & Seaview) and enjoyed BOTH experiences! I find that if you're going to have a very "active". vacation (excursions, days getting off the ship) or young children with you (they want to around the main ship enjoying all the activities) then I book the FANTASTICA experience. If I plan to stay onboard and relax, I do YC. Then I get the full enjoyment of what YC has to offer! Ps the YC on Seaview was in Europe and I have to admit, YC & Fantastica in the USA is much better! A lot of the crew here in Europe REALLY WANT TO GET A CONTRACT ON THE USA based ships😊
We just booked an AFT for next summer’s Alaska cruise. I do home hemo dialysis and those rooms are bigger and can accommodate my machine and supplies. Highly recommended the AFT, I tip my room attendant a little extra and they’ll bring some of the nice lounge chairs to relax in… we typically do breakfast almost every day on the veranda….

I've been there before but wanted to go to other cities. I'll try again for 2026 because next year is their jubilee and millions of people will be there. No thanks😱
Hello Thomas, I was on the Saratoga at the time of the accident in 1990. I was part of the communications department. I was on board the ferry that capsized, however before the ferry left they told some of us there were too many people onboard, and I was told to wait for the second ferry that night. The ferry I was on arrived to the ship before the ferry that capsized. The 1MC announcement came over man down man down, we have mass casualties. We lost two sailors from communications department that night, ( Delgado and Stewart). I appreciate everything you did that night to save our fellow shipmates. I will never forget that night in December, this affects me to this day as well.

Yes, MSC is in a good position to be the top cruiseline I think. The ships are beautiful and the people are nice and I do believe that the new terminal in Miami will be very very nice too. I thank you again for the wonderful comments, #LOVEMSC. Take care and be safe.
Our 1st time sailing Carnival in a few days but just don't see the benefits of their "cruise cash" options. We cruise often and take cash. Soon as we get onboard, go to guest services and change our sea pass card to a "cash account." You can use a debit or credit card as a backup. Use cruise app to view charges, etc. What we don't spend we get cash back in hand on last night when closing acct. You will not get a refund with Carnivals options nor forced to buy things.
Never forgotten. Every Christmas since then has not been the same and I still celebrate the life of Gilbert Fontaine, Anthony Fleming, Delwin Delgado and the other 18 brothers. Bless you brother.
I was there. A sad and very difficult night and days ahead after. I lost a few friends on there...Delgado Brown, Green and Seay. I was on shore about to head back to the ship when we saw the flares and sirens went off. We literaly stayed on the streets of Haifa Israel all night and half the day waiting to get word about casualties and the deceased and to get on the ferrys to get back to the Saratoga..RIP to the brave 21 we lost that night! You guys are right! Read the small print before you book a cruise or any other vacation. Thanks for the facts, because that's the way it is. And yes Yacht Club on MSC is worth it, so those folks wishing to have the Yacht Club experience in a regular cabin, is totally wrong. You will have a decent time for the PRICE you paid.
I still think of that night, that could have been My fate but I could never get off because of the long lines. Rest well, my brothers. Brent and Anthony, I only knew you briefly but you have become a signifigant part of my life and I remember you every day. Just starting out Being there, My 1st ship, my 1st deployment was Desert Shield/Storm and went through the Suez Canal 6 times. That was when I was young and was looking to the future. I still don’t understand the benefits. Cruise cash is non refundable. why not create a special savings account for traveling. You can overpay on credit card BEFORE the cruise. You could also purchase Carnival gift cards at a discount. I just don’t like the idea of being forced to spend money before you get off the boat. I would love to see how much money carnival is making with their Cruise Cash.

Hubby and I are both Army Veterans. Our fourth cruise aft balcony to central America cost $617.88 and we got $400 on board credit and free drinks anywhere on ship. We gamble when you spend a couple hundred you get next cruise and perks like crazy. We also get specialty dining with bottle of wine ANF filet minion and lobster with desert
