What about religious brainwashing taking place in cults resulting in deaths, not all cults mind you? --When visiting a Virginia military base on a field trip while living in Maryland, I took a look into a building off tour. I witnessed a film playing to new recruits all about learning to kill or be killed. Programming takes real effect when young guys get into a combat situation where they have to kill others. "To kill someone says one veteran takes life from you! Is the US military a cult?
I love Ben Browder - he is the best emotional actor I have EVER seen! He is amazing! I can't wait to see this film!! No other actor can do "hearbreak" like he can! I know I'm gonna need a full box of tissues to get through this... There's no info, as far as I can tell, on IMDB. I wonder why? I wanted to check for the release date and I can't find anything...
This is not going to be a feel good movie in any sense of the word but it is certainly one we need to see. Ben Browder is more than up to fhe task of carrying this film.
It gave me a hell of a shock to see that scene and Ben is freaky. I wouldn't say that I'm waiting this movie hoping to spend a good moment but I'm sure that his performance gonna be amazing, strong and give another proof that Ben's a great actor.
Very powerful sounding, and the fact that it's Ben Browder makes it even better. He did an amazingly brilliant job in FarScape and I believe he'll do an equally good job here. But I'm not sure if he can top his FarScape performance, though. That'll be a pretty tall order.
thankyou for doing this. I'm excited to see this when it comes out. It will be one i'll buy. A true honest epidemic that needs to be brung to the forefront of society
I had to cry when I first saw this video although I have no personal connection/link to this topic (and I'm not from America either). And I think THAT is really wonderful. What a great emotional performance.
then how can i help, i am 100% behind this film. It looks amazing. Also, sorry i got the details wrong. I heard it from a site that the fate of the movie depended on the vids views. Sorry
I love this, Ben. Great music choice!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will be so glad to see you back up on my television screen again!!!!! You are on of the actors that I will go and watch whatever it is that you're doing......it could be reading the phonebook....I'm there!!! Susan
Hey its me again with a couple more questions(sorry i just really like the idea of your movie) 1. What will the budget for the movie be? 2. Will it be a 2010 or a 2011 release? 3. Around what time will we get the official news about the movie being mad
I cannot request strongly enough that this movie not portray the American servicemen and women as psycho, doped up, murderers as the movies of Vietnam did to the veterans of that war. And please do not portray us as people who go out and kill innocent civilians for the fun of it or out of anger, or whatever. Most of us, a large majority, are not like that and are not guilty of such atrocities.
Ben is a wonderful actor and will do this movie the justice it deserves. It will surely get the message across that we need to do more for our vets than what we are!1 Can't wait for the movie to come out.
Ben Browder is one of the very few people who I think could play a part like this & make you (for how ever long the film is) walk in that mans shoes. I'm a Big Believer in Ben Browder's Superb Abilities.
Welcome to the history of the world. After the wars, when we are no longer needed, we get cast aside and forgotten. Promises are broken, veterans are put away where we can't be seen or heard and the money that everyone screams about never happens.
Walter Reed was just a symptom of a larger problem. That might be added to the film, if it isn't too late. Also, something about Servicemember's Civil Relief Act of 2003, and recent updates. A lot of servicemembers and state governments really don't know what is protected in that Act
well that was really good from Ben! Kinda confused about the music *shrug* but that's not important. This should definately get a theater release! They have to get it to theaters! Ben Browder on thebig screen...*swoons* LOL :P
Oh wow. Kudos to all involved and respect to Ben. This can't be easy. Neither on the filmmakers, nor on the vets. Another powerful way to portray what we are doing to people through the endorsement of violence, any violence. I'm not a US citizen, but I can't wait to watch this.
Looks heavy and somewhat controversial; even without the sound. Meaty role for Ben though which is cool. Will probably take some heat from right-wing idiots, which may be annoying, but may also have its pluses (sometimes celebrities are loved more because of the people they piss-off; e.g., Dixie Chicks). Best of luck with it Ben!
Looks very interesting; this topic certainly needs to be talked about. Quite a departure in character for Ben; usually this kind of material gets ostracised for being 'unpatriotic' (propaganda only happens in other countries apart from the IS of course) but hopefully the new regime will prove different. Wish him all the best. The camera used to film is an interesting choice - has a very home-made feel to it.
I was able to catch it the other day with audio, though for some of it it's not needed you can really see what he is conveying in his eyes; pain, regret, twinges of anger even a little rage. When I did hear his voice the pain is raw, I really hope it can be finished so we can see the catharsis or resolution.... what happens next
Hey youtube - what's up with only enforcing your stupid copyright rules only on certain vids? it's not like anyone is making money off this clip - EXCEPT YALL through the ads. sheesh. as far as Ben and the new movie go - can't wait!!
